Exactly how I felt when they killed Sense8. The most beautifully shot show with a unique perspective, they had to kill after season 2. Fans put up such a stink they made a 2 hr “ending movie” instead of the last 3 seasons.
Netflix is too hooked on these one season lackluster shows because they’re cheaper.

Having "Accidentally" discovered this series on Netflix, I introduced my wife to it and we are both HOOKED. We binged watched both seasons and can't wait for season 3.

I really really liked season 1...but season 2 was amazing! I liked it so much, I had to share it with my kids and wife. My wife is not a scifi fan so didn't know if she would like it. but re-watching both seasons again. second time is just as good as the first time watching!

I got tears in my eyes from joy. I really love the show and the people behind it really seem like very cool people. I am so sad the show is near its end. Have to watch 7 more eps to be up to date completely but I am sad it is ending.
On the other hand... In a year or six or maybe even 16, it would be super cool to see an extension of this show, using all the new technology that's available by then.
The story lends itself to such stuff. You can take it anywhere. Even involve "kids" from the youngest actors now.
Anyway, whatever... I love the show, the people and am very glad I got to see all of this during my time on our little planet in this corner of space.

I love it! I am 40 years old and Lost In Space has always been part of my all time favorite shows. The New Lost in Space is even better! I love everything about it! The scifi-art, the characters, the Robot, the plot and even the sound track😍 I believe that the show has fans everywhere in the world... by the way I am in Cape Town South Africa.

@Eros I think they already have. I was a fan of the first show in 1966, and grew up watching it. When I saw the first season on Netflix I couldn't recognize any of the characters because they were so far removed from the Irwin Allen creation. John Robinson is not as strong of a leader as his original character. They wrote an entire back story of a previous relationship for Maureen so they could explain Judy (not sure why they changed her in the first place) and I don't know what happened with Dr. Smith. Originally, Dr. Zachary Smith was a spy who inadvertently got trapped on the ship, while trying to sabotage the mission, using the robot. Now he's a female escapee who steals Smith's ID and stows away onboard the Jupiter. Over the last few years I have seen so many people remaking classic TV shows in a "modern" format. Why do they do it? It's like drawing a moustache on the Mona Lisa. Imagine Knight Rider with a Volkswagen Beetle, or Charlie's Angel's played by three men, or Batman driving a Chevy. This is not creativity, its recycling. They use the title as a hook to draw people in and showcase the new rewrites. The problem is that the title is going to draw in the people that remember the original show and have bonded with those stories and characters and they're going to have a tough time wrapping their heads around the new ones. It's like flying to your home city and getting off the plane somewhere else.
