Unless campsites start giving reduced prices if you don’t want hook up rather than adding meters and in effect charging more you’ll always get people abusing ehu. The option should be available to buy any pitch and have the post locked off if you don’t want hook up.
Thanks Rick - not a bad idea that and a simple gadget to lock the outlet probably would be simple enough to engineer I would imagine. Hope you guys have a lovely bank holiday weekend. All the best, David & Rachel 👍
What a lovely bloke he is, really makes you want to visit the site, which we will one day , when the trolls are nt there 🙂 🙂 🙂 Will subscribe to his channel as well 🙂
Thank you - yes it was great to have a chat and learn about the campsite wardens day in the life of. Have a lovely weekend, All the best, David & Rachel 👍
Great interview and knowing what goes on ‘behind the scenes’….we’re looking forward to meeting Neil (and Mark/c)….. I wasn’t going to mention the nodding….still a great video 😉 👍
Haha - yes, I’ve learned not to take navigation from Rachel - we’ve ended up at some odd places at times especially with the wrong postcode - this was the wrong site haha. All the best, David & Rachel 👍
Best sport ever watching first timers, especially if it's raining. First time we went camping 30 odd years ago we practiced in the garden several times🤣🤣🤣Cheers K.
Interesting vlog following your visit. Definitely a few truths about ehu abuse and also facility abuse - the look on Rachels face regards the "log" in the shower 😂😂 - sorry Rachel but it did make me smile. 👍
Definitely - It was funny wasn’t it on the shower log! Pleased it made you smile 😊 Hope you’re having a lovely bank holiday weekend, All the best, David & Rachel 👍
That's fair, what I don't get with most campsites is that you have to have electric, I would prefer to spend less on the pitch and make electric an option on meter
Thanks Chris, It's a great option if you could use or not use and pay as you go, I notice a lot of sites are installing meters for that, clearly though in that case you would expect the base cost to reduce and then just pay if you use. I think the price at the Nurseries was very fair with electricity included. Thanks again, All the best, David & Rachel 👍
We’ve paid £5 for 1 night on Monday coming which I think is steep, I don’t mind paying if it’s reasonable - but £5 is steep. Some of the club sites offer a better deal for individuals but not so common elsewhere we’ve found. All the best. David & Rachel 👍
I noticed that - note to self to try not to do that or I’ll get the nickname Churchill - thanks for your feedback - have a lovely weekend, all the best, David 👍

Thank you - we really enjoyed the chat and stay.
Have a lovely Coronation weekend, all the best David & Rachel 👍
A great video and chat with Neil it’s great to hear his experiences and he must see so much as a campsite warden
It’s great isn’t it - Most days seem to unfold a new story.
Thanks for the comment - appreciated, all the best, David & Rachel 👍

I object to paying £2 night for a dog. I travel on my own so use less of the facilities and electricity as a couple

More nodding then a nodding dog
