I’m a retired career Naval officer, so have no doubt for whom I cheer. However, I’ll tell you who I HAIL . . . those who serve - and have served - with honor, and frequently with courage and distinction. Our uniforms differ and we have unique, proud traditions, but our values and our commitment to this nation are identical and transcendent. In recent American generations, only one in two hundred will ever wear a uniform of our armed forces. Those who do share things that are both crucial and everlasting, we incur the risks of service and we sacrifice, not for affluence, influence, celebrity or power, but - fundamentally - for love of our county, for preservation of our freedom and for each other. May God bless everyone who does so (and their families, who also make substantial sacrifices for the United Stares and its citizenry).
Navy fan and brother of a Navy grad. Absolutely fantastic. We are so lucky to have fine young men and women like these who represent and defend this Country.
What a wonderful way to be introduced to West Point's Alma Mater. I must admit to never hearing or knowing it, but it is a striking piece of music, a beautiful hymn performed here with such profoundly deep emotion. I would only hope that the general public takes the time to see this inspiring video of a tribute to Lt Prasnicki. Yes, Linda Kay, your niece did a fantastic job singing this along with SSgt Gaynor and the Glee Club. Very emotional to see this amazing work, and as a proud American and Air Force retiree, I commend you all.
The big game is over, and army has won once again. This song moves me so much, It will be an honor to one day stand with the other few that have the same aspirations to protect and serve our great nation. Rest easy 1st Lt. Prasnicki
What a beautiful rendition! So proud of the Corps and their continued pursuit of excellence. I am also pleased with my personal faithfulness to honor the Lord on His day during very difficult times at West Point, and as a result of the Supreme Court's ruling against the Academy and its mandatory chapel attendance policy. It was difficult attending services with so few participating after experiencing the Corps' worship together. I remember seeing the faces of Chaplain Ford and Wilson the first several weeks of smaller and smaller attendance. They remained calm and professional. The Days have passed and I have been made aware that The Corps is uniquely grounded spiritually. I am blessed to have witnessed so many wonderful choral and organ recitals at The Cadet Chapel over my extended length of time at West Point. The Choir is awesome! Beat Navy ! Keep the Faith, have Hope.
When I had the undeserved honor of singing in this amazing club we didn't have the beautiful high sopranos at the beginning and throughout. Very nice. Thanks.
Absolute perfection, not only as a a version of the alma mater, not only as a military academy spirit video, but as an exquisitely performed choral arrangement. It is rare to see such transcendent performances. Tho vocalization range is so broad, the solo contributions emotionally delivered and the chapel instrumental music accentuates the chorus perfectly. So few are exposed to traditional music, I fear that the wonder, the heart and the beauty of this piece will be lost on a small fan base. I hope that people will take the time to share the message of a committed corps, with members whom commit their lives, both in word and in action. To those who granted us this performance, it is a gift that should be relished and cherished. Godspeed cadets.
Austin Lachance, Thank you for this blessed posting. I don't know how one can watch this with out tearing up-A fine tribute to !st Lt. Stephen C Prasnicki. May God continue to shine his light on all who knew and loved Lt Prasnicki. The Cadet Glee Club did a beautiful job. Complements to the Soloists. In defense of our country Army and Navy are on the same team! However in all respect to QB #17 Prasnicki- I have to say GO ARMY and LEAD THE WAY!! God's Peace
When I was a kid I sat towards the front on the right to watch my dad preach. Once, I waddled up towards the altar and was swooped up by a cadet and sat on his lap. That was before the girls came, back in early 70s.
"NEVER IN THE COURSE OF HUMAN CONFLICT HAS SO MANY ,OWE SO MUCH, TO SO FEW" WC GODSPEED IN YOUR JOURNEY`S. THANKS TO ALL WHO SERVED. REMEMBER SGT LA DAVID JOHNSON AND SGT WILLIAM H CARNEY
I had the honor back in 1975 and 77 of training West Point Cadets at Camp Buckner Summer Field Exercises. In 10 years of service in Army on 3 levels best duty I ever served. These are people who can thrive under tremendous pressure 24/7/365. West Point is a grind that the other academy's are not. Officers inn the Army are made basically 3 different ways. R.O.T.C. O.C.S. and the Academy. These officers lead other officers as well as enlisted. V.M.I.,Norwich, Citadel, A and M are R.O..T.C.West Point is the real deal.4 years every dam day.Maybe a couple of weeks leave summer. 15 days reat of the year. I am still in awe of the folks that attend W.P. Go Army Beat Navy!
HAD TO LISTEN TODAY ( ARMY- NAVY GAME DAY 125TH ) IN HONOR OF MY FATHER WHO HAS RECENTLY PASSED ROBERT CAPPIELLO USS SIRAGO SS 485 GO NAVY BEAT ARMY SING SECOND
Beautiful! Well done and well produced. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. That said, as a Navy grad, it never sounds like that when Army is singing first and the tears are running down your cheeks. Go Navy! Beat Army!

You are 100% correct, Shipmate! This was beautifully sung. Bravo Zulu to the Cadet Choir.
Tomorrow, the Corps will sing it -- FIRST. BEAT ARMY!!
I find it ironic that you said you HAIL men than end your comment with God Bless.
So well said!
