Hi thomas, i admire your passion on the cars, salute from 2024 fan. I have one question, i will bought 2nd hand (8 years car) yet in good condition body (stone chip here and there). My question is whether it is worth it to install ppf for the purpose of to get the glossy finish since the car is polar white and after 8 years probably the paint is lil bit faded but still acceptable. Hope you to have a reply from u if by any chance u read this comment; keep a good works on what u are doing and keep it 100%, salute brother.
Great video was very helpful as my wife and I have a M2 LCI which we bought a couple months back. Thinking of changing the color as it’s in Alpine White but white after awhile will turn yellow as I understand. So was looking at PPF and learnt something new on putting ceramic coating after the PPF and didn’t realize you could put different grades of PPF across the car. Love the videos you produce. Fun and insightful. Will try to bring the M2 on the Sat drives when I have time 😊
That’s why I chose only xpel as my PPF. I found PPF and it’s adhesive from other brands can turn yellow over time. Anyways Glad you found the video valuable and see you on a weekend drive!

I’ve been browsing around and bump into magnus pro but their advice is for white cars is to apply full ppf whole car or only ceramic coating whole car, combine is not advisable due to discoloration will happen (yellowosh over time) and it will show difference becos the car is white.. from what i understand from ur video…xpel wont turn yellow .. so am considering now.. since i want to protect the front from stone chips etc..anyway great videos n explanation from u!! Keep it up!
Yep. This is from their website: Non-Yellowing Our proprietary film formulation will not yellow from UV exposure, ensuring protected areas are nearly invisible. If you're on a budget. You can do Front PPF and then Ceramic Coating. But take note because Xpel's PPF has a unique gloss, you can see the slight difference if you really stare at it. The other option is to ask or the 7mil PPF and maybe you can stretch for the whole car. Hope it works out. and Thanks for watching!
