Wish more bosses took Simons approach....."I wont chase a date if the product isnt right". Too many bosses just slap deadline dates down whether the product is right/ ready or not. Self defeating long term.
That hm6000 looks insane for the price!

Not new though. I bought mine around 2011.
Quite sad it took 100 years for Thompson to get his Pacific designs in RtR form, but I'm thrilled they're finally here.

I would love to see Hornby make the lbscr E2 class tank engines with extended side tanks. I want one badly.

I hope the Class 91 will have working lights this time but the concept version doesn’t show cut outs where the lights would be on the front

Hopefully it will encourage a new generation of modellers into the world of model railways
Quite an interesting selection which scores full marks for eccentricity and electricity with that tablet-controlled DC system. The Beatles Yellow Submarine Eurostar is an unusual offering as is the 'steam punk railway system'. Apart from the crazy stuff, there are some more sensible releases which should please more mature customers. The re-issue of the re-tooled APT will be a welcome addition for those who found the original release lacking. The re-issue of the Stephenson's Rocket and carriages will be popular with collectors, although it has to be said this is hardly a serious modeller's item along with the Yellow Submarine Eurostar and the Steam Punk Railway. The reproduction Dublo Duchess of Atholl as R3819 will be a welcome collector's item since the Dublo originals have too coarse scale wheels to run on System 6 track.
Certainly a wide and varied range this year. The control system is a very interesting development

Hi Ben, nothing new as of yet, but there is the E-Link system which can be operated via a phone still in the range.

So called steam punk items should not be allowed near Hornby . Keep it traditional . Don’t ruin it .
