I don't trust dealers. I've bought a few (Second hand) bikes off dealers, who have assured me a service has been done before pickup. Immediately after picking up I've done a service myself, and every time I have found the bikes still have old oil, and old filters. Not a good look. I'm glad I do all my own servicing now, and have been learning lots from you, Old Mechanic!

The "professional" who assembled the tires did a very poor job indeed👎
I say. If I may? This is a great opportunity for you to conquer a new skill. The front tire must be disassembled from the rim because it is currently mounted in the opposite rotation direction.
P.S. I divide the balance weights into two, half on the right side of the rim, half on the left side.

Good job a nicely balanced wheel, and I finally learned how to balance a wheel properly thanks for the clear explanation and instruction apparently I’m not to old to learn new things👍🏻

As I suffer from OCD I would have two on the left and two on the right .If I had the tools I would balance the rim first then fit the tires and then balance the whole wheel but we can't have everything

I didn’t know about the dot on the tires have to be on the valve stem. Just checked my bike because as I told you last week I got new tires. I was riding home after getting the new tires and I noticed the bike was to easy to turn and it was dipping on the turns too much. When I got home I checked the air pressure and sure enough they both were way too high. Rear tire on my bike is supposed to be 36 pounds and it was 46. The front tire is supposed to be 29 pounds and it was 42. Bike rides much better now after removing the air.
Still waiting for the OEM parts for my rear brakes. I will let you know how that works out.
I love the two videos you put out here checking the dealers works. They do get away with crappy work. Some of them. Great job Sir. Love it.

Hi Randy, I don't no why those dealers don't take a minute to look up the right tire pressure for a bike.. Specialy on a motorcycle where you only have 2 wheels !

Not all tires have a dot for the valve. I have never seen one on a Michelin. A lot of times you can balance the bare wheel and just go with that. A good quality tire is usually dead on from the factory.
