It seems as though all of the english rockers lived hard lives, but they never die, they just keep going and going. Rod, mick, keith, ron wood, pete townsend, roger daltry.
It would be a nice addition if somehow the name of the songs could be featured in the video or description. I drove myself crazy looking for Cindy incidentally which is the first song playing. Amazing song! Great video as well. It's started me off on a journey of diving into this bands discography as well as rods.
Cheeky lads, "That Beano band's got nuthin" on us". Faces were full of talent and joyfully played off each other. Look at their faces. Man, I wish I'd been there at this gig. They were at their best in smaller venues where they could play directly to faces in a rowdy crowd. They deserve credit for pioneering Hard Rock. That is, bass and drums right up front with the guitar, keys and vocal. Listen to Ronnie Lane's bass lines... they were more expressive, almost like a lead guitar. Kenney's playin jungle percussion. Faces and Cream each pioneered bringing drums & bass up front. But Faces never went big. Pity they missed the fame and big money of arena audiences. But they were genuine and one of my top three... or six, or seven... favorite rock bands. -Doug Pratt, Atlanta, Georgia, USA (former Mancunian).
I knew Mac was short, but Ron Wood? Wasn't the "Small" part of the name dropped because Ron and Rod were taller than the original trio? 5'9" and 5'10", say the biogs.
" Best drunk band in the world "
Greatest band ever by a country mile!
Unique brilliant and influential band 🇬🇧🎸🎤👍
Superb time capsule of magical musical history, no band could match 'em at this time
Yeah, one of the greatest rock and roll bands of all time.
I don't think the voice guy EVER saw the Faces in their heyday, they would have eaten him alive. They were rowdy boys.
The greatest rock band of all time never another to this day got close!!

I don’t think I’ve ever heard anybody refer to The Faces as tight.
Hahaha! They had a tight looseness.
Tight in this case may be the 20-30’s sense of the word as in “drunk” lol
Give over, they were tight 90% of the time.
Exactly. First thought I had hearing that too
"Wait is that Paul and Linda McCartney?"
No it's just Ron and Rod Stewart.
Ron Stewert and Rod Wood
The guy stood behind Ronnie at 6.55 looks like Rod a bit. Could it be his brother?

Yes.
Saw the Faces around this time - they were great drunk or not - The computer - voice over is pathetic.
I seen the First Step and the Long Player tours :-) Peace
Small faces far superior with Marriott,
