FDNY Engine 221 and Ladder 104 get toned out to Box 0212

We are at quarters of FDNY Engine 221 and Ladder 104, "The Southside," at 161 South 2nd Street, where we see both companies as they get toned out to respond right around the corner to Box 0212 at 342 Bedford Avenue between South 2nd Street and South 3rd Street for a Class III alarm. Battalion 35 also responded. The call ended up being nothing, so Ladder 104 transmitted a 10-35 no code for an unwarranted or unnecessary alarm system activation. Engine 221 is a brand new 2022 Seagrave Attacker. Ladder 104 is using a spare 2005 Seagrave Marauder tiller truck with a 100 foot mid-mount stick. It’s so simple and yet so satisfying to hear those tones as they go out 🚒. I heard them for the first time at the Stately Duane Manor this august, and then again at Engine 1/ Ladder 24, they kinda complete the experience.

@@jocelynderek they absolutely can but don’t put them on the trucks due to city noise ordinances. As a matter of fact most of their sirens are limited to 75 watts instead of 100 because of such.
