I usually just cry myself to sleep after rolling a bunch of armor pieces and burning through a ton of modules
Running a full set of ammo weight armor allows you to save a lot of perk points, especially if you use every type of ammo. On my heavy gun build, that saves me 8 perk points. I feel it's an under rated effect. Even if you're only using ballistic and energy, that's 5 points. Having a full set has really helped complete my builds and its allowing me to finally try a pistol build as I would not be able to make one having to use points on reducing ammo weight
Same reason I run fdc armor on most my builds besides my pa build I use sent assassins or uny ap sent combat
I rolled 250 vault steel worth of Thorn... got 2 pieces i can use...none had more than just 1 useful star
Angry Turtle suggested 2000 to 3000 vault steel. I was at 1800 vault steel and rolled complete sets Thorn unyielding and Overeaters with a little left over. Now I am saving up to min/max my Thorn armor.
@@chris5942 yeah I know...but I was impatient and didn't want to grind scrip for more steel xD I'll get it eventually xD just put the pieces in my stash and I'll add to the set every once in a while :p
Life saving is useful for...encrypted, or using for a minute at the start of a boss if you want the resurrection bonus damage from that perk card. I have four pieces that I swap in when I need to run pylons and that's about it.
Led is a god tier effect on armor, so is Sentinel. If you got a Uny/led/sent piece, its one of the most expensive pieces out there.
I really wish we could have something similar to the legendary perks. We could select the roll per star, even if the modules cost per roll would be much higher.
I have one piece of life saving with weapon weight. It saves me 50 percent of the time. Its a keeper!
I'm bloodied build and run 4 pieces of unyeilding ss with 1 life saving ss

If cloaking was changed from melee to any hit, I could see a niche case here and there where it could be helpful

This is why people have been asking for Bethesda to allow us to re-roll individual stars by themselves instead of having to roll all 3 every single time. This system desperately needs to change. I burned roughly 800 modules on Gauntlets the other day and I can count on 1 hand how many of them are actually usable.

Troubleshooter x damage reduce while standing still seems useful for the new weather station event for melee ...
Took me 1800 legendary mods to roll an left arm unyielding with intelligence. After that I was like fk this.. So I simply traded some god rolls for the remaining pieces. The RNG is just horrible, I don' it being this bad. I'm sure at this point it was nerfed even further along with the new scoreboard system.
i tend to agree with you about the rolling being nerfed, months and months ago i rolled for ss peices to make an unyielding set, not all 3 star but still got a full set fairly easy, now i'm getting 1 unyielding every 100 rolls or so, and the only 3 star out of 400 or so far this season has had rad remove...........
I must of crafted between 50 - 100 amor pieces for each unyielding SS part just to get a 3 star that has that first perk.
all of them have trash as their second and third perk.
The RnG is seriously inflated to cover up for the fact that they dont really have any endgame content.
Surprise surprise, a game dev that mostly only does single player games, doesn't know what to do after the story ends.
For full HP just go third star WWR and it's all you need 😅

Would a full assassin's set prevent reflected damage in Daily Ops?
Technically it should...but if it does...that's the question xD
It's not something I've tested or even thought to test. Now I'm curious though.
Idk I use just a full sent of sent combat and only died once to reflection in daily ops
Yeah, death can be avoided by shooting only when they are not reflective. That's too much work for me but ymmv. Nuka Launcher is the classic solution but an assassin's set would be nice for characters that lack that gun.

I think this shit is such a scam from the devs. Why not just make these plans you find, so you can build your own stats on your expensive armors
