If you have every had a loose towel bar, then you know how annoying they can be. Even if the towel rack was installed with wall anchors, they can be pulled loose from the wall pretty easily. In this video I will show you how to remove the towel bar and replace the drywall anchors with toggle bolts to fix your loose towel bar permanently!

Fixed my first bathroom towel rack with your help! So easy! Thank you!!!
Awesome! Nice work. Love to hear the success stories!!
Thorough but simple to follow, thanks so much for this tip!!! 😊
No problem! Glad I could help :)
Thank you!! I couldn't see that little underside screw until you told me!!!
Yeah. Those are tiny. Easy to miss.
Love this solution! Much more elegant than using messy caulk or spackle.
This works great as long as the hole is not torn out too big. I wish the towel bars would just come with toggle bolts to start with. it was save people having to replace them when they tear out.
@@RoscoReviews , worked like a charm! Hopefully my 14 year old will be more careful with our towel racks from now on, lol.
This was very helpful, thanks for posting this video!
Happy to help!
Perfect and simple explanation as well as video of each step👍🏻

My bathroom towel rack has fallen off, and I would like to kindly ask about the name of the flathead screwdriver used in the video. I’ve been searching for it for a long time but couldn’t find it. I would really appreciate it if you could provide me with a link or the name.
Thank you!
Happy New Years
If you are talking about the little tiny ones. They are typically called "precision sets" Here is a link for a really inexpensive set. There are much larger and more elaborate sets if you do a lot of handy work. but this has a few different sizes that should work for most DIY jobs.

thank you
How much weight can those butterfly anchors support? Can it hold a bathroom wall shelf in place?
If you are attaching only to drywall, then these toggle bolts "butterfly anchors" are probably your best bet. how much it will hold will very. The bolts come in different sizes (the bigger the better but it has to fit your mounting bracket). I was curious, so i looked it up. Google says a small toggle bolt should hold up to 30 pounds. I probably wouldn't trust it to hold much more than 10 pounds per anchor to be safe. If you can find a stud to screw to, you will be better off.
Would these screws and anchors work for a curtain rod bracket as well?
Sure! These are called toggle bolts. In my opinion, they are the most secure type of drywall anchor.
I like the toggle bolt solution, but what if the hole that was made is much bigger bigger?
If the hole is bigger than the toggle bolt. I would probably consider moving the towel rack up a couple inches. if you patch the holes and move it up a little bit it will cover the holes a little bit and then you can use the toggle bolts in the new holes.

No problem! Happy to help 😄
Gratitude✨️
You’re welcome 😊
i just superglued MINE
I don’t think I would recommend hanging anting very heavy on a rack that is glued to the wall. Lol
@@RoscoReviews it has held up for 7 months and i'm moving out next month
Okay but it’s just glued to paint lol. Ever heard the saying a chain is only as strong as it’s weakest link? Same goes for this. Superglue may be strong yes, but the paint will flake off lol.
