I like how he demonstrates the problems that most of us face as well as simple ways to remedy them without stressing out. Of course, it’s not easy for just anybody to cut a rod, but still very good example. Nobody’s perfect but it shouldn’t stop us from trying.
You make it look so easy. I end up with huge holes in the plasterboard (drywall), bent rawl plugs, and a very squint shelf or whatever I am putting up!!! Thank you for this video. I appreciate it.

Can anyone tell me what he did wrong when measuring so I won't make that mistake? It looked like he measured everything perfectly.
this is a good video tutorial. I view a bunch of videos on youtube and couldn't find a good one but this one. Thx for shring
Wow thanks! I really appreciate it! That’s for watching and I’m glad it helped!
Fantastic instructional video. Thank you !
Never thought to use a pinch or pre drill the anchor hole. Saved this for future projects.
This video helped me re install the one in my Bathroom my granddaughter ripped off the wall. Thanks
Thank you so much!! I’ll definitely be able to handle a small job like this 🙏🏾 blessings to you
Thank you! Good luck on the project!
Can you drill above an electrical light switch? Want to install a towel bar ring
what was the red tool you used on the rod holder screw?
very good thanks
Great job 👏🏼
Love this!!!
Even though the anchor is self drilling, making a pilot hole / pre-drilling as in the video helps to avoid having the tip of the anchor snap off.
I just did one of these but I put my bracket with the screws side by side. Hopefully it will be OK. :)
Great vid! How do you determine how much space, you'll leave on the sides?
What kind of drill do I need for this?
Great
Mine came with a template sheet that I taped up to the wall for the hole locations.
Wow that’s nice! Wish mine did!
I only wish more did. So much easier.
Cut the towel bar to 16” and mount to both studs…….that’s the real solution…..
I put up this towel bar BUT.......... It doesn't stay put. The tiny screws that are underneath come loose and the thing falls apart😖
That's EXACTLY what has happened to mine. I'm trying to find out the name of the tool he uses to tighten them
@@dublinjazz1I would use a drop of blue loctite on the threads of your set screw
Twel rail should not be near the toilet
Those drywall plugs are self drilling 🤦
