de-emphasis doesn't have anything to do with jitter; early DACs where having issues with linearity, their output voltage would drop more and more the higher the frequency got, hence the early audio CDs had emphasis (treble boost) and they send a flag in spdif signal do indicate it; de-emphasis detects that flag and applies dsp eq to normalize the output signal if you try to play one of those CDs.
The swapping button functions was added to the OG EIII firmware a little while ago, I've had mine swapped since I got my unit months ago. The extra power sounds like a good upgrade though, i find myself maxing the unit from time to time.
Just to be honest, I've never pushed more than 10 in the positive on my element 3. But i also don't have ridiculously high impedence headphones. I think my hd600 or dt990s ( not as good imho) are the hardest to drive things that I have

Upon watching the video, it seems that this has optical input and rca out for your speakers. I notice a lot of higher end amps are also like this, where there's only optical input. As someone who doesn't understand how the connectors work, how would you get this to work with a computer if your motherboard doesn't have an optical port?

I can't take audio reviews seriously from LTT, when his in house on camera audiophile guy acts like he can hear the differences in audio when they're slightly misaligned our out of phase, but also is deaf enough to believe that subwoofer port position makes no difference if its pushed up against a wall or out in the open.

Yeah. Nintendo switch, too. I don't own a PS5 but I know my switch is VERY picky about what dacs it connects to. It won't have anything to do with my SMSL SP200(M200? Whichever one the dac is) or my BTR5 (over USB, but will take Bluetooth) but it has no problem with some cheap Behringer audio interface I had laying around, and it'll connect to my JDS labs OL DAC no problem. Something about UAC1

@@Pepe-dq2ib he's not clowning, there is a speaker amp on his table (Topping LA90) that is used even for IEMs because it's so clean. Look into EMOTIVA A100 if you can't afford the LA90, that's a very good amp for Argons.
My best friend's, brother's, uncle's, sister use to work for Linus and she said he's very dirty. He hardly ever showers so he smells like really bad. She said he doesn't like to shower because of "Climate Change". That's really stupid and gross imo.
At one time, and for several years I was subscribed to almost all of the LMG channels. Over the last three years it had gone from channels where I found some useful tech knowledge and entertainment to a place with almost incessant plugs for his merch store or streaming service. Then of course he began having his writers set up projects for videos, and he would show up for the filming, screw something up because he was unprepared and too busy to care, then having a cut in the video where he comes back three days later after they've fixed whatever it was he screwed up. I unsubscribed around a year ago and haven't looked back.
I haven't watched them in a while. I occasionally do if there's a vid with an interesting title in the side recommendations. For me, it's too much "Quantity (of videos) over quality". I'm also not hugely into PC's & tech so I don't need constant variation of build videos, smartphone news, etc.

If anything, the evidence suggests the opposite, people underestimate the power that is needed to realize the potential of most full size headphones and certain iems. There are studies that go into the reasons why, but there’s little sense in me arguing a point here for someone who has already made up his mind.

If you have a PC, buy an audio PCIe expansion card. If you have a laptop, a USB to Toslink adapter will work, but at the cost of a janky experience.
