In this video, I'll show you how to play Vivaldi Four Season Summer Presto on electric guitar. This one is probably the most accurate Patrick Rondat Vivaldi Summer tab you can find.
The Four Seasons is a group of four violin concertos by Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi, each of which gives musical expression to a season of the year. These were composed around 1718−1720, when Vivaldi was the court chapel master in Mantua. This is the third movement of Vivaldi Summer and the most striking moment is served, as a hail storm mercilessly rains down, offering a perfect contrast.
Sorry for the key, I did a mistake... I am planning to update this lesson with a performance video too.

Played this at 1.75, sounds amazing.
I’m planning to play 2x speed :)
@@OzzGuitar on 2x vibrato sounds not quite natural. 1.75x is perfect!
Vibrato suck there. U did vibrato too fast on słów version :)
@@webmaster21 Sorry I’ll delete the video🤣
@@OzzGuitar Good luck! I listened on 1.5 speed and that already sounds good to me. Nice arrangement too.
This piece has been covered a few times before. My favorite is Conrad Simon's "Antonio Vivaldi`s Summer Presto" off his album The Wrath Of Con, check it out!
As for the remarks on vibrato, I agree that it doesn't sound good at 1.5. But that's not relevant,as long as you don't speed up the vibrato when you play faster. I think that a wider vibrato would sound better though. A slow, whole tone-wide, Yngwie-style vibrato would sound more hard-rock and dramatic - in classical music that's known as "heroic vibrato". Either that, or authentic classical vibrato (violinist-style lateral movement of the fretting hand). Blues/rock style "fast and shallow" vibrato won't sound good in this context.
thanks for putting this up, should keep me busy for the next five years
It is done, took me 6 days 10 ours a day. I got totally obsessed,I couldnt do any other thing, just played the damn summer. I had to adjust some fingering since my hand is not big, also I m not young anymore. Ozz..I really appreciate it,you made me happy and better player. Best regards from Croatia. Tommy
Hi Tommy,
Glad you enjoyed my video. It’s just a piece of art. Thanks to Vivaldi!!
And lets not forget to Patrick Rondat.
Thanks a lot for your message, you made my day.
Regards
To those of you that don't normally listen to classical music - try listening to Baroque stuff - Bach - try the Lute Suite in E or Toccata/Fugue D minor , Vivaldi - 4 seasons , Handel - Entry ... Queen of Sheba - just a few examples - you'll find them on YT & played on guitar . Also Paganini - Caprices.
Thanks sir for the on screen tab . For those who can't afford Premium ..🙂

I would love for you to do more of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Summer Presto is one of my favourites along with Concerto No. 4 in F minor, Op. 8, RV 297, "Winter" (L'inverno)
Allegro non molto (in F minor).
I would love to play Winter too🫶
Большое спасибо за урок!!!

Amazing
Thanks for the tabs mate
Enjoy🤘
Merci beaucoup
Simply outstanding maestro. Bravo. Now I’m inspired enough to pick up the guitar once again. Please please take a look at Combustion from Dann Huff. Giant 3 album. Many thanks maestro
This guitar version just shows how little people actually created in the last 100 years. A lot of rock and specially metal riffs and solos sound so similar to this, it just can't be a coincidence. And they are not even better.
Vivaldi is pre piano. 1700 something I think, you can raise that to 300 years.
they sound similar due to the fact is is played on a electric guitar here and he has it set up to sound like that, or that theres a small amount of notes in western music.
This sounds like a really long exercise and a good one at that
Brilliant!
bravo ! thank you so much
