After 6 pints you would be sleeping on the grass outside.

We loved our 1999 autosleeper symbol. Only sold a couple of years ago due to corrosion. Have to say, ours was also all singing and dancing, heater, hot water, shower, but lots more storage under the bench seats than that new one. We used ours with 2 single beds. A small filler cushion with hard back went on a ledge behind the drivers seat to make that side bench long enough, not behind the passenger seat as you had it.

I've got a Symbol (but an auto) coming up to its third birthday and love it to bits. It's been brilliant, easy to park and drive and big enough for me and a small but beautifully formed lady partner of the Japanese persuasion to sleep in comfort. The bed is dead easy and quick to set up or pack away once you get the knack. The offside single is long enough for a Japanese-sized lady, but would not suit a full-sized British lass. Made up as a double it's big enough for two
One niggle is the cooker extractor fan. It's not an extractor it's a recirculator with a carbon filter which is not what you really want when you're cooking in a van. I'd be tempted to say that it's neither use nor ornament, except that it looks good enough to be ornamental and it has two brilliant lights which make it useful. Just not much cop at getting rid of combustion products and cooking effluvia.
It may just be my van, but I need to lift the bed slats up an inch or two when sliding open and shut, not sliding it out level as you did in the vid ... After a couple of weeks of sliding it level the slat frame pulled the hot water outlet pipe off the top of the Whale heater - not a good thing to do with the pump turned on. Learned a lot about John Guest pipe fittings in a very short time.
The lounge design, with the sofa facing the door is really great. With the door open it's a great place to sit of a summer evening. Despite the little niggles we really love the van and have some great trips in it.

Forgot to mention a really brilliant feature - the lighting. Auto Sleepers have really got this right. All, of course is LED. It's a combination of good main ceiling units, three superb spotlights (two are moveable on a ceiling rail) and a couple of short strip units. They create a really attractive and comfortable ambiance that make the van a really pleasant place to be of an evening, once it gets dark.
There are also floor lights, pretty enough, but in practice never use them. More useful and highly commended is the external awning light above the door - powerful and creates a well lit area under the Thule canopy. Found it especially useful when wild camping - it can be a bit bright for use on campsites.
Also forgot to mention the water inlets. One is just an ordinary locking cap - but the other is the clever Whale fitting. A hose with a special fitting came with the van when it was new. Just attach to a tap, set the van to auto-fill and it keeps your tank topped up. As mentioned in the vid I suspect that it will also work with a submersible pump from an Aquaroll, but haven't tried it.
Other bits. The flash wifi system works - but you'll need an additional SIM - and I've found that using a smartphone mobile as a wifi hub works just as well in more than 90% of locations.
Finally, thanks for these brilliant videos - really enjoy them.

The bed is much easier to make than you made it look! For double, Pull down single seat first, pull out the bed frame, lay cushions flat and add inserts. For two singles, the insert with the hard part goes on the driver's side. If using as a double you can leave two cushions at home🙂. If you're going out for a few pints, make up the bed before you go out and come back in the back door😂

Good video, I think Auto Sleepers should re introduce the Stratford, same size as Symbol, but separate shower and easier bed make up!

OOH, a proper water pump. A ShurFlo, you can't beat a ShurFlo, I am glad A/S have moved away from submersible Whales that didn't last very long.
