Just wanted to say 'Thank you!' for your videos. So many TH-camrs I've seen demo audio gear by using a cheap room mic and playing the output of the gear they're demoing through a speaker sitting there next to them. It's so refreshing to see someone using decent recording equipment and piping the outputs direct to the recording so that we can hear as relatively uncolored audio as possible. Keep up the good work!
On the ProFX6v3 and ProFX6v3+, a big difference that isn't a factor on its bigger siblings is that while the ProFX6v3 doesn't have on-board compression like the ProFX10v3, the ProFX6v3+ actually gets this feature. It is one-setting on/off, though, à la the Signature Soundcraft, and not a knob you can set. It is at least there, though, so if you absolutely need that, you no longer need to step up to the ProFX10v3 to get it.
I upgraded my DJ controller and now I run my REV5 controller to my dad’s Behringer XENYX X1204USB. But now, my sound doesn’t seem to hit as hard or sound as clean Since my REV5 is a more expensive controller, do you think I still need to use an external mixer? Would a lower ext mix affect my audio? Would purchasing the Mackie fx10+ make a noticeable difference?
Thanks for going over the differences between the 2. I saw that they only offer the v3+ in the 10 and 12 channel boards. I will probably go with the 12 channel, but I would almost go with the 16 if they had the + features.
I've been looking for a mixer that can use a submix for my tv (game) audio and mic. I'm using my gaming consoles to stream, and using OBS and Discord. Naturally, I would like to send my voice and gameplay to the Stream-mix, and only my voice to Discord. I'm also going to use some studio headphones to monitor the console game audio and Discord audio. Is that possible with this mixer? Thanks for an awesome video!
Hi! I’m a new subscriber and I’ve been watching your videos. I need help. I’m a flutist trying to live stream on Twitch with OBS. I can’t seem to get the reverb effects or any effects into my stream. I can hear them on my monitoring earphone but the audience doesn’t hear it. Do you know what’s going on? Thank you in advance for your help! I look forward to your reply. 😊
@@augustinemallipudi2644 the fx non is actually all the way up and still no reverb. Just streamed yesterday. And now even my back track doesn’t go through either. I’m actually at my wits end. 😭😭😭
@@fluteberriesmusic711 ok now check the mackie software settings in your computer. If it didn't work try updating the software. Or else factory reset your computer and then install the software freshly. Check with other computers, to confirm whether the problem is with mixer and if so claim your warrenty and get it repaired
How is your mixer connected to your computer? USB? Does OBS see the mixer? Make sure your FX send is turned up on the channel AND the FX Level (down by the main level knobs) are turned up. I can try to replicate this when I’m in the studio today, but it should work if both FX knobs are turned up.

Oh nice! Thanks for the comment. I'm doing a 6v3 comparison soon, so I will be sure to include that.

Great concise explanation with no BS. Thank you!

Thanks for your information and explanation.
Hello. Wich is better? Onyx 12 or profx12v3+? Thanks.
Do that newer + version record audio of all channels seperately?
I just the first two
You always nail down your videos . +10 for all your content👏👏
What do you think about the onyx series compared to profx series?
Definitely a big upgrade. Better preamps, real multitrack recording, mid sweep, onboard recording, etc.
Thanks for the video👍🙏
@@kettnercreativewhich one is the best? Pro fx or Onyx Studio.
I hope the Bluetooth works with my Apple tv as this would make the perfect mixer for Apple sing karaoke with mics and loud speakers.
Thanks ❤

I got the regular Mackie ProFX 10v3
Try to increase the fx nobs/faders.
Make sure obs not detecting/transmitting the audio as mono. Effects work great in stereo.
