Thanks, Pedro. I’ve got aprox 15-20 different carts mounted to different headshells, and this phono stage looks like it could be useful, especially with the flat EQ setting and adding my own. Not sure I’m ready for that rabbit hole though. Glad you mentioned the Tavish phono pre, as that’s what I’m using right now, and I love it. Thanks very much for this review.
@@deaudiofilosinenglish169 LOL 😂 Dyou have the Tavish Classic model? That’s the one I picked up, as I’ve got a large stash of NOS 12AX7’s and 12AU7’s and the Tavish “Vintage” model with it’s 6SL7’s would be a bit more difficult for tube rolling. My Tavish phono pre going to my Don Sachs preamp, which has 6SN7’s and my Quicksilver monoblocks which have KT88’s going into my Tekton Pendragons, seems to be a fantastic match with great synergy. Finally no more “upgraditis” for gear, and just buying records instead. Love your reviews, Pedro. Thanks again. 🔊😊🎶 Edit: Quick side note: I’m in the process of building some very high sensitivity speakers that can be easily run by a 5-10 watt SET amp, cuz that’s where the true magic of music reproduction lies, imo. Simple circuits with as little parts as possible….
@deaudiofilosinenglish169 I see you have reviewed both Graham Slee Accession and Icon Audio PS1 MkII on your channel. I like your energy. I know its bad manners to ask buying advice in TH-cam comments but here it goes :D Which one would you choose for MM cartridges if you had to pick one? How they sound compared to each-other. Thank you in advance!
Hello and thanks for your interest. If you want to record vinyl, I would get the graham slee, it's dead quiet and dynamic. For listening, the icon audio gives you a bigger soundstage and warmer, more engaging sound
I see you own a Rogue Audio Hera! so do I.Very nice.
Really great preamp. I just got a Mark Levinson 523 however, so we'll have to compare
Graham pronounces his name Gray- erm. Graham is a first and surname. In Scotland it is commonly spelt Graeme.

You and me both!
