    That is soooo cool,
    and the instructions, that is so cool too, reversing it makes it so satisfying

    Is the assembly instruction actually a reversed clip of disassembly? It’s like wonderful magic tricks!

    Hey could you make a 3 or more gear automatic transmission ?

    Cool! Is there any way to increase the 2 speed to 3 or 4?(without differential)

    me again, does this handle reverse motor direction as well? I'm thinking of adding a gearbox to my walking machine and your version is nice and compact 👍🍺

    • @npljojo
      @npljojo 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it seems to me like it locks the gearbox on the 2nd speed.

      @@npljojo there appears to be a.problem with torque sensing with Lego. I'm kind of feeling like quitting on automatic gearboxes as they can't handle rpm (power) and the motors I am using are 10x, even 30x the reg limit of the puny Lego motors. After a lifetime of supporting Lego, I'm officially bored and frustrated with how feeble it is compared to RC modelling.

    When i put resistance on the output, the output gets faster - it should get slower so it is stronger up a hill, so there would be no benefit???

    What are the two ratios (default gearing?)

    • @npljojo
      @npljojo 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depending on which ratio you use. To calculate LEGO gear ratios I'd recommend sariels gear calculator.

    Dumble: as you can see it doesnt have a differential. Me who doesnt know what a differential is: i guess im blind then :(

    • @JaceN3D
      @JaceN3D 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is a part in most cars that allows both wheels that the differential is connected to spin at different speeds, which helps when a car is turning, but it is not good for offroad. If you search “lego differential”, you will see what it looks like and there are some videos that might help you to understand what a differential does

    Mine makes a horrible cracking noise,can anyone help?

    • @complextroblue
      @complextroblue 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is normal. In the first and second gears of the gearbox, there is an intermediate section (between the gears corresponding to the first and second gears). The movement of the gears in the first and second gears is not synchronized, which consumes some traction and changes the movement status, causing the gears to jam at that moment. This is unavoidable unless you use a gearbox made of a differential😅

  • @curtisnewton895
    @curtisnewton895 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    completely useless as the rotation gets inverted
