Homeworld looks like an art masterpiece, like a painting made by a great artist from the 1800s about 'how the future would be' or something. Really props to whoever desinged it.

It looks exhilarating to go through, or just eerily fun. Either something with deep meaning or a secret conspiracy hidden in it, or just art.
i want to have an entire episode dedicted to life on homeworld, from an average citizens perspective to a higher ups, to the diamonds. I want some world building basically.

There were giant ruins of fusion statues, maybe Rose found out about the true history of gems and fusion, perhaps pink diamond was in on it and was shattered for defying the authority she, as a diamond, represents.
I think the white lines around homeworld are some type of transportation because at one point you can see a blue yellow and pink lights going through them.
When they're falling, you can see colored lil balls of light zipping by. It'd be cool if those were actually gems in a sort of travelling system, where they drop their physical form to travel quicker.
rose = pink diamond (both pink and gone) amethyst = yellow diamond (have a temper) pearl = blue diamond (sadden by the "death" of rose/pink diamond) garnet = white diamond (mysterious and are the leaders) all of them have other traits similar but i only listed the main/key resemblance
I had a feeling those little holes could be something like status pods for gems who don't have duties to attend to at the moment. Having them be just normal houses would be really cute. I completely agree that the part of homeworld we saw could be apart of the capital.

I agree there must be a pleasant side to Homeworld otherwise it would have crumbled aeons ago since no one would truly want to advance it. Like you said if it was just a horrible prison-like place Lapis and Peridot wouldn't have wanted to return there. Looking forward to learning more!
I'm starting to think that white diamond is more of a deity than an actual being. May be she was the progenitor/was seen as the progenitor of the gem race and is treated as a god.
I'm pretty sure she's her own character just like the other Diamonds. She probably just has the most power since it's implied she owns the most planets.
Remember back to when peridot called Yellow diamond a clod remember how her pearl said this is the yellow diamond controll room who authorised this call . i assume that each diamond has a controll room designed after their look . that isnt the diamonds HQ its white diamonds controll room

As far as the Trial depicting the capital city of Homeworld, my own impression was that Homeworld (and probably other major gem worlds) is a Ecumenopolis; a planet consisting entirely of one giant city, along the lines of Coruscant from Star Wars or Holy Terra and other Hive Worlds from Warhammer 40000, particularly the latter given the surface is a barren wasteland populated by mutants and outcasts.
The big white diamond structure maybe white diamonds space ship, as we don't see yellow and blues hand arm and shoulder ships, , and pinks leggy craft is still lost in the desert. We don't know where exactly white diamond is, but as she wasn't at the trial, I wonder if she acts more like a queen, as opposed to blues cultural and artistic ways, and yellows milatristic and dominant attitude.

When I look at the last shot, I think back to when peridot and the gems went to the moon base and looked at what the colony of earth could have been. If you looked closely, there were tubes going to the core of the Earth. I think both on homeworld and that simulation, those are Thousand mile tall skyscrapers that Steven and Lars were falling down.
can I just point out that in the shot of Homeworld where Steven and Lars escape with Blues palanquin, the white sillouette with the spiked hair is white diamond. you can very faintly see the diamond on her forehead, and some shading of the face.
Are you talking about those hexagon-ish holes being gem houses? If so then yes they are! We've already seen similar holes when we first saw the Famethyst. It was were they were all hanging out at and resting in
5:20 of that is White Diamond herself, that would be fucking terrifying. Just imagine, one collosal being that watches of everything and we never see her go and attend anything because she is too damn massive to actually fit anywhere...wouldn't want to piss her off😱
I think the White Diamond statue/structure, is actually a ship. If you pay close attention to the shoulders of the structure, there doesn't appear to be arms attached. This matches up with Yellow and Blue Diamond's ship being arms.
Try looking at White Diamonds painting with the planets around her. If homeworld is in the center like many speculate, then you can give a good guess by the planets and the moons around them to determine where homeworld is.
I think the thing in the background is white diamonds ship and the arms (like yellow and blues) can detach but in white diamonds case are still attached to the main body, also I think peridot came to earth in a hand version of these but recolored it which we have seen she can do (I think it was adventures in light distortion) with the ruby ship.
Now that we have gotten more information in the show, I think you should revisit the only one rise quarts idea, how we saw alot of quart soldiers not too long ago, what if rose was just a perfect gem, like jasper. Than that would mean that she has abilities that others won't have compared to an incomplete or normal quartz gem.

I've had this theory for some time now. I believe White Diamond is a "Big Brother" type figure like in George Orwell's novel 1984. In 1984 we infer that Big Brother isn't actually a real person, just propaganda. Having a giant statue of White Diamond would be the equivalent to the infamous "Big Brother is Watching" posters we see in the novel. This would also explain why she isn't present at the trial even though she had her own corner of the room; as well as why none of the other diamonds have mentioned her
On your speculations about gems & chillaxation: It's worth noting that while they don't sleep, they have been shown to get exhausted after continuous activity (see that time the CGs were searching everywhere for Malachite for example) Then again, Peridot seemed fairly unfamiliar with the concept of chill time but then again she was fairly low-ranking & it might just be her personality to an extent.
That giant, white, head-torso combo is most certainly White Diamonds ship or base, but I think an excellent plot twist would be if that was WHITE DIAMOND HERSELF.
That city was most likely the capital given how White Diamond's base is in the middle of it all. It reminds me a lot of Aku's city in Samurai Jack where he has a gigantic city surrounding his hideout.
Lapis wanted to go back because she was on Earth for thousands of years after being cracked and when she finally got to home world she sent that message to Steven warning him of Jasper and Peridot and she says that she can't understand anything on Homeworld anymore and that's it's too advanced.
Hey roundtable, i have my own theory on homeworld and white diamond, i think homeworld is white diamond and the big white humanoid is her head and the reason for this is on the moon base mural she is holding what i think is homeworld and control over it. thats all to my theory hope you enjoy it
I kinda like the idea of that huge white diamond being a ship. Because Yellow and Blue's ships are both arms, imagine if Pink diamond's ship was the legs. Then they could connect with White Diamond's ship and FORM VOLTRON!!
I think That may have been Homeworlds Capital City. I think that big white diamond head thing is White Diamonds Base. I think those Holes going into the Underground are Storage Room's for Quartz Soldier's like what the Amethysts sat in on the Zoo
When steven becomes leader of the crystal gems, he should make it "The Crystal Gems: Era 2" with the crystal clear logo with the shield and sword would be the insignia. That would be sick!
He briefly mentioned that that could be white diamond's ship. I think it'd be cool if that was the case, cause the structure doesn't have arms or anything, so perhaps the other diamond's ships ( which are arms) would complete it. Pink diamond's ship could've been the legs. I mean, I don't know why this would be a thing cause there's no need to combine ships ( it would probably just make transportation slower) but i still think it's cool
Maybe we haven't seen white diamond yet because she's so very old that she's reaching the limit of gem lifespans, getting sickly and dying, maybe even having some kind of gem Alzheimer's? And the other diamonds don't want to alarm the populace, so they keep it a secret. And maybe it's been happening for thousands of years, and that's why they made Pink Diamond, and why Pink Diamond's shattering was such a huge deal. Maybe they needed to replace White Diamond, and that would take centuries of training and so on to get her on an even keel with the other diamonds. It would also explain why she wasn't at the trial for Steven.
Did no one notice the possible transit system on Homeworld? If you don't know what I mean, take a look at those purple tubes scattered across the city. If you look closely you even see a high speed flash of light move across one of these tubes. Could it be some kind of tram? Or even the some kind of Homeworld teleportation/warp system
if the big thing is the actual white diamond, i think she might hold up homeworld with how hollowed out it is and is why she holds it in the painting. or she could be holding it because shes just too big to fit on it but than idk why she would be strong enough to shape shift into being small enough. maybe her power level makes it hard for her light to shapeshift into something too small
yellow and blues' ships are arms, maybe this is white diamond's ship? and maybe they attach the a big mecha. maybe pink had legs/feet? also if homeworld is that big that's kind of a big coincidence that Steven and Lars managed to land almost on top of where the sisters of rutile were, fluorite is probably a collection of all the gems that were down there considering how long they group has been down there (probably why their attitude was like, maybe more if we meet the right gem, which was probably how they worked, collecting more into the fusion if it was right), so they are probably the only group in that entire underground world (that are connected). Basically, very big coincidence
In the episode that steven found that key to roses junk yard, right next to each side looked like pink legs to form out pink diamonds ships as legs. and of course yellow and blue diamonds ship as arms, and white diamonds ship as the head and torso. like the diamond art. Pink on bottome as legs, yellow and blue sides as arms, and white diamond on top as the head and torso. therefore if all the diamonds went againts one group, the diamonds would form an extreme robotic gem fusion. as for the diamond corruption, the blue, white, and yellow light is the fusion but without pink diamonds legs. so i think my theory is correct. Holly Blue told the Amethysts to clean up their cubbies or something. So if gems on a ship have cubbies maybe they have those on Homeworld/colonies too? The holes look pretty gem-sized to me, it's possible.
Not sure what the White Diamond structure is, but it may White Diamond's home as it reminds me of Desire ' s home in Neil Gaiman's Sandman, which was essentially a giant version of Desire itself
I don't know if anyone has discussed the possibility that the current diamond authority could be based on the 3 branches of government with White diamond representing the executive branch (the head), blue representing judicial and yellow represented the legislative branch (the left and right hands of the government).
I still wonder how Lapis was able to fly to homeworld so quickly. On the Ruby shift it would have taken decades without the hyperspace function, right? Lapis has those awesome water wings, but wouldn't she have had to run into some gems with a warp pad or a ship on another planet somewhere in order to make it back so fast? idk
You know this whole Pink diamond shattering thing has got me thinking. Did they really have a whole war without any loss of life. Imagine if Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty tried to make sense of this war Rick: "So Pearl, you're a warrior right, that means you've killed other gems." Pearl: "No, we don't shatter or in other words kill gems, we destroy their physical construct, trap their gems in an inescapable bubble, then seal them away for eternity." Rick: "Well that just sounds like killing, with extra steps."
Maybe that white diamond hung is a part of a ship so blue and yellow are the arms legs are pink (from when Steven found out about Nora) and white diamond is the torso and head

I have a Theory it's a Giant gem mech. it would explain it's depiction in the Gem pyramid temple back in season 1 where rose seemed to be fighting white diamond. i think they may have made the picture look like rose, but i think she actually represented the Temple fusion fighting the giant mech. i also think this is where the Yellow formulated her plan to use the gems made in that planet to create her own fusion after seeing it's power in battle. although, that still, to me, brings the topic of curruption into play, which i think honestly either came from another planet that was concurred by the Diamond authority and then weaponized. I think it alters a Gem's Physical form's programming, causing a deep malfunction and alteration of apperence based on the corruption. basically a Virus program that currupts gems and turns them into the Virus itself. this Virus surpresses a gems better nature and replaces it with the more primitive and animalistic nature of whatever it turns into, as demonstrated multiple times in the show itself. i also have a theory that the virus has multiple types based on the Gem it corrupts, as demonstrated in the episode Earthlings where Jasper fused with a currupted Gem and Became exactly like it, and how the Centipedle and her crewmatea were all Centipedles. i still want to see more of this in later episodes because this has to be the biggest loose end in these series that all ties to the Diamonds and possibly this Mech.
Maybe that courtroom could be like the Supreme Court for Homeworld? The court could be at the capital of Homeworld and is the only court where the Diamonds appear.
Remember when Pearl got mad at Amethyst and Steven for going wrestling? (Tiger Millionaire) If there are arenas on Homeworld that might explain why Pearl was so angry and why she said it was a "circus of violence"

On your speculations about gems & chillaxation: It's worth noting that while they don't sleep, they have been shown to get exhausted after continuous activity (see that time the CGs were searching everywhere for Malachite for example)
Then again, Peridot seemed fairly unfamiliar with the concept of chill time but then again she was fairly low-ranking & it might just be her personality to an extent.

That giant, white, head-torso combo is most certainly White Diamonds ship or base, but I think an excellent plot twist would be if that was WHITE DIAMOND HERSELF.
That city was most likely the capital given how White Diamond's base is in the middle of it all. It reminds me a lot of Aku's city in Samurai Jack where he has a gigantic city surrounding his hideout.

When steven becomes leader of the crystal gems, he should make it "The Crystal Gems: Era 2" with the crystal clear logo with the shield and sword would be the insignia. That would be sick!

I think it'd be cool if that was the case, cause the structure doesn't have arms or anything, so perhaps the other diamond's ships ( which are arms) would complete it. Pink diamond's ship could've been the legs. I mean, I don't know why this would be a thing cause there's no need to combine ships ( it would probably just make transportation slower) but i still think it's cool

Maybe we haven't seen white diamond yet because she's so very old that she's reaching the limit of gem lifespans, getting sickly and dying, maybe even having some kind of gem Alzheimer's? And the other diamonds don't want to alarm the populace, so they keep it a secret. And maybe it's been happening for thousands of years, and that's why they made Pink Diamond, and why Pink Diamond's shattering was such a huge deal. Maybe they needed to replace White Diamond, and that would take centuries of training and so on to get her on an even keel with the other diamonds. It would also explain why she wasn't at the trial for Steven.

Did no one notice the possible transit system on Homeworld? If you don't know what I mean, take a look at those purple tubes scattered across the city. If you look closely you even see a high speed flash of light move across one of these tubes. Could it be some kind of tram? Or even the some kind of Homeworld teleportation/warp system
if the big thing is the actual white diamond, i think she might hold up homeworld with how hollowed out it is and is why she holds it in the painting. or she could be holding it because shes just too big to fit on it but than idk why she would be strong enough to shape shift into being small enough. maybe her power level makes it hard for her light to shapeshift into something too small

also if homeworld is that big that's kind of a big coincidence that Steven and Lars managed to land almost on top of where the sisters of rutile were, fluorite is probably a collection of all the gems that were down there considering how long they group has been down there (probably why their attitude was like, maybe more if we meet the right gem, which was probably how they worked, collecting more into the fusion if it was right), so they are probably the only group in that entire underground world (that are connected). Basically, very big coincidence

I think the wd silhouette is definitely her ship. It's a head and a torso, with no arms, so it connects to the other ships of the diamonds for sure
In the episode that steven found that key to roses junk yard, right next to each side looked like pink legs to form out pink diamonds ships as legs. and of course yellow and blue diamonds ship as arms, and white diamonds ship as the head and torso. like the diamond art. Pink on bottome as legs, yellow and blue sides as arms, and white diamond on top as the head and torso. therefore if all the diamonds went againts one group, the diamonds would form an extreme robotic gem fusion. as for the diamond corruption, the blue, white, and yellow light is the fusion but without pink diamonds legs. so i think my theory is correct. Holly Blue told the Amethysts to clean up their cubbies or something. So if gems on a ship have cubbies maybe they have those on Homeworld/colonies too? The holes look pretty gem-sized to me, it's possible.

Not sure what the White Diamond structure is, but it may White Diamond's home as it reminds me of Desire ' s home in Neil Gaiman's Sandman, which was essentially a giant version of Desire itself

I don't know if anyone has discussed the possibility that the current diamond authority could be based on the 3 branches of government with White diamond representing the executive branch (the head), blue representing judicial and yellow represented the legislative branch (the left and right hands of the government).
I still wonder how Lapis was able to fly to homeworld so quickly. On the Ruby shift it would have taken decades without the hyperspace function, right? Lapis has those awesome water wings, but wouldn't she have had to run into some gems with a warp pad or a ship on another planet somewhere in order to make it back so fast? idk

I have a Theory it's a Giant gem mech. it would explain it's depiction in the Gem pyramid temple back in season 1 where rose seemed to be fighting white diamond. i think they may have made the picture look like rose, but i think she actually represented the Temple fusion fighting the giant mech.
i also think this is where the Yellow formulated her plan to use the gems made in that planet to create her own fusion after seeing it's power in battle. although, that still, to me, brings the topic of curruption into play, which i think honestly either came from another planet that was concurred by the Diamond authority and then weaponized. I think it alters a Gem's Physical form's programming, causing a deep malfunction and alteration of apperence based on the corruption. basically a Virus program that currupts gems and turns them into the Virus itself. this Virus surpresses a gems better nature and replaces it with the more primitive and animalistic nature of whatever it turns into, as demonstrated multiple times in the show itself. i also have a theory that the virus has multiple types based on the Gem it corrupts, as demonstrated in the episode Earthlings where Jasper fused with a currupted Gem and Became exactly like it, and how the Centipedle and her crewmatea were all Centipedles. i still want to see more of this in later episodes because this has to be the biggest loose end in these series that all ties to the Diamonds and possibly this Mech.
Maybe that courtroom could be like the Supreme Court for Homeworld? The court could be at the capital of Homeworld and is the only court where the Diamonds appear.
Remember when Pearl got mad at Amethyst and Steven for going wrestling? (Tiger Millionaire) If there are arenas on Homeworld that might explain why Pearl was so angry and why she said it was a "circus of violence"
