YES!! You said EXACTLY what I truly believe and lived by. The baby comes into YOUR lives not the other way around!! They are so adaptable and if you take them out more and talk normal voice instead of whispering, they will be more calm and behaved! At least that is how all 4 of my daughters were. They were so wonderful! I am beyond blessed.

Hi Mimi! I'm 32 weeks pregnant and I was thinking the same way as you, about not buying a lot of things for the baby, etc and waiting until later to get things. Well, I had a very easy pregnancy all the way through the second trimester but starting in the third trimester, I am feeling very poorly, tired and achey! EVERYTHING is so hard now! My advice is to set up the nursery and her things sooner than later. I wish I already had things done, minimal or not, so that I could just be RESTING right now and preparing mentally for childbirth. I know you haven't bought anything for the baby yet, but a huge advice is to buy a Mamaroo from the brand 4Moms (its a infant seat that bounces up and down and sways from side to side, just like we parents do. It has five motions, my favorite one the kangaroo which moves like we moms move when we are trying to make our baby fall asleep in our arms, I still have it and its a huge help! Is like having a robot nanny!) and also DockATot is a pretty good investment (which basically is a lounging and chilling pod for the baby from 0-36months, super comfortable for the baby to sleep in) Tons of love for you and the baby!!

You have no idea how much I enjoyed this video!! So fun and SO similar to how I was when pregnant and how my husband and I raised our children. I also used Baby Led Weaning method for feeding and it worked out beautifully! It is so sweet to see how each child varies with a like or dislike, and just observing their little personality. It will blow your mind and seriously be the best thing you ever did! Having a child when you are fully mentally ready is such a joy and you take it day by day. I agree with your comment about having a baby when ready. but as someone who works in the medical field it is sad the amount of women who can't biologically because they waited too long, reasons such as waiting for the next promotion or I'm just 32, 34 even though they are in a stable relationships. not saying go have a baby at 21, 22 but guys biology plays a major part.

I'm around 4 weeks ahead of you. I honestly feel blessed for having such a easy pregnancy. I think it is genetic because my mother told me when I got pregnant that she didn't have any symptoms with us. We are very lucky i guess!

Hi Mimi I'm so happy you are entering the mom world! So welcome!!!! I know you haven't bought anything for the baby yet, but a huge advice is to buy a Mamaroo from the brand 4Moms (its a infant seat that bounces up and down and sways from side to side, just like we parents do. It has five motions, my favorite one the kangaroo which moves like we moms move when we are trying to make our baby fall asleep in our arms, I still have it and its a huge help! Is like having a robot nanny!) and also DockATot is a pretty good investment (which basically is a lounging and chilling pod for the baby from 0-36months, super comfortable for the baby to sleep in) Tons of love for you and the baby!!

You have no idea how much I enjoyed this video!! So fun and SO similar to how I was when pregnant and how my husband and I raised our children. I also used Baby Led Weaning method for feeding and it worked out beautifully! It is so sweet to see how each child varies with a like or dislike, and just observing their little personality. It will blow your mind and seriously be the best thing you ever did! Having a child when you are fully mentally ready is such a joy and you take it day by day. There is no reason to stress bc things happen and you just follow the babies signs and signals. I have complete faith in you and Alex becoming incredible parents! Blessings to you both xoxo

I agree with your comment about having a baby when ready. but as someone who works in the medical field it is sad the amount of women who can't biologically because they waited too long, reasons such as waiting for the next promotion or I'm just 32, 34 even though they are in a stable relationships. not saying go have a baby at 21, 22 but guys biology plays a major part.

I'm around 4 weeks ahead of you. I honestly feel blessed for having such a easy pregnancy. I think it is genetic because my mother told me when I got pregnant that she didn't have any symptoms with us. We are very lucky i guess!
I truly did love this video. Your answers have been pretty inspiring and I do completely agree about the things you said about society pressure and that you personally have to feel ready. I hope that I also will get a feeling, when it's going to be the right time.
