NOTE:
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) does not regulate drones that are operated solely indoors because they are considered covered structures that prevent access to the national airspace system. However, you should still follow some safety guidelines when flying your drone indoors.

That 'garbage' under the old tractors was there to catch oil leaks and prevent damage to the wood floor.
That makes sense
Ken, your Avata sure can be a lot of fun! As a work machine, mine has flown through some crazy places while filming, including close-by and beneath a moving bulldozer!
Very cool!
So who's getting the Avata 2?
That ratio tho
Indoors is the only place exempt from all FAA rules that apply in the NAS. So my house is another place. Indoors is not NAS. Everywhere else outdoors in the country is NAS. The only other section may be military drones in an active military restricted area, but I’m pretty sure at least some FAA drone rules still apply.
I really like seeing these types of videos, Ken. More, please!
You got it!
When you fly through places, obviously your steering is important. I’d like to know if there is any latency ? I would think if you feel you are in one place but are actually somewhere else , that would reallllly mess you up. So how does it work that the lag or latency is negligible so it doesn’t effect your flying.
There is no appreciable latency. You just have to get used to trusting your visual input
I really like these sort of videos. You get to do and show us some neat FPV video and fly through some thing and it is not so fast that it makes me dizzy. That fly through the building, in one door and out the other, looked to me like it had a little jump cut. Was that an oops?
So glad you liked it!
No that shed shot was one continuous shot, but Gyroflow only stabilizes one file at a time so when you put them together it look like it was a jump cut.
Cool video, I have been thinking about doing that at expo shows locally also but only after getting more experience as I am a fairly new 107 drone pilot therefore more experience would be needed obviously.
Absolutely. That's a good plan. 👍
That warning that you gave at the beginning is so true, I had a little girl come up behind me while flying my avatar and stick her hands in the prop guards. It cut her a little bit on one of her fingers but luckily it wasn’t deep, and luckily the parents didn’t try to press charges. It ruined my whole experience of that particular park and I haven’t been back there because I felt so bad about it. It’s been a while but I finally went for a fly again yesterday and I loved it, but if I saw anyone coming near the drone, I’d keep well away from them.
Yeah, kids are unpredictable to be sure. Glad you had some fun!
Amazing flying Kenny!!!
Thanks bud!
When the eclipse happens here in Houston we will be 90% effected.
I thought I would take my DJI Mavic 2 Zoom and go up about 250-300' and park it there videoing the skyline of downtown Houston.
Other people may have ideas on doing something like this.
Great idea!
Pretty damn cool video you're putting damn good at it again can Ken keep on flying my friend
Damn... Thanks!
Great to see the friedly folkes on the tour! It was fun following along with the sub titles!!
She said "you can tell me I'm nosy" lol
Smooth Flying Ken...
Hey thanks! ☺️
Nice flythrough Mister Heron!
Thank you very much!
The "Garbage" is to contain any oil that leaks from the equipment 👍
Oh wow, that makes sense
Just like Harleys that's ladies leak here and there
a brand new something that needed a "leak mat" would be garbage imo....
So cool
You definitely have skills..
Now I want to do some inside flying!
It's fun!
Another fat L
Really cool! What drone is that?
DJI avata
FAA rules apply here - Were you not flying outside of VLOs when you went outside?
No, I removed my goggles
Wishing you well, Ken!
Same to you!
Nice indoor flying Ken. I really enjoyed this one, thanks for sharing.

Would you fly that with the MC2 controller, Ken? Might be fun!
Great flying as always Ken.. I love my avata.
You and me both!
Bravo!!!!
We made too many concessions and we got too little in return. So we flew around them!
🤣🤣🤣
you're making me want an avata 2, Mr Ken... I wasn't ready to go FPV yet...but your videos are getting enticing....
are you flying in manual mode?
You took chances that scared me Ken 👍
Its always a good day when ken posts.
🤓👍
Love this!!!
☺️
Awesome flying
Much appreciated
Skillful flying Ken. Always good to see your videos, thank you for bringing us so much enjoyment.
My pleasure
So you don't have to have a part 107 to fly a drone inside a building for business
Correct.
The FAA have NO jurisdiction indoors.
Wow! That must be nerve wracking.
Do you scout the area before flying there, or do you just get your ideas "let's fly under the tractors" while flying?
I walk the route after I plan it in my head and then I have an assistant follow the drone around in case anything happens. Safety first!
Well that was actually fun to watch. Thanks for sharing Ken.
You bet, Grumps!
