      Yes. Lamar Jackson recognizes the greats before him like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Steve Young, and Drew Brees in interviews. They all, in turn, note the great game Lamar Jackson has and see his potential to become a next champion. Also, to take his skills to the max resulting in potentially the ultimate quarterback!

      So do you not like the truth. Tom Brady knows how it feels. Peyton manning was winning mvps and Tom was winning superbowls. I respect Lamar as a person but I'm sorry you don't have an elite quarterback. Who cares about the regular season vs sorry teams. What does he do in the playoffs not much.

    About Henry I can say, Fred Taylor and Frank Gore were also unicorns and played forever. Certain guys are simply made differently so I'd bet the over in Henry playing and say he is honestly still in his prime and this offense should help him sustain it longer.

    Tbh Sarah I don’t think last episode was a throw away idk why but I was actually invested in the “Life Of Bobby Trosset” 🤣 ayyy that kinda has a ring to it lol but I’m a “Living In The Moment” type of script is good sometimes everything doesn’t always have to be planned just like today listening to the Baseball Content I was like dang I almost forgot this was about Football and the Ravens lol but that’s GOOD because I was still listening so it be like that sometimes and now Bobby I will say you might wanna mention to her you talk about some things on the show maybe she is the “Private Type” a “Don’t Kiss And Tell” type or maybe she doesn’t mind but at least talk to to her about it so it doesn’t become a problem later if when everything is already going pretty good best of luck to you man and Sarah as always you are just SOMETHING !

    I’m honestly not even hating, I jus been watching football long enough to know that this play style doesn’t translate to superbowls. Yes, I know he’s a far better passer than people cut him out to be, I’m not one of those idiots. However, he has to learn to beat a stacked box with his ARM! Once he masters that, sky is the limit for LJ. Our team has been ready to win the big one for years, and he’s been very lack luster in the playoffs for that one sole reason. Sure there is context, his first two years he didn’t have much talent and he was very young. That’s cool, now he’s 27-28, his legs and body are only going to slow down. Time to master beating a stacked box with his arm, and he has all the tools he needs. Rootin for em

    • @mobrown1198
      @mobrown1198 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yeah I’ve been watching football for along while also.
      In context.
      There haven’t been very many quarterbacks that have played “this style”…
      Sample size is important.
      Yeah I’m sure you are thinking of listing “ALL” the players that you know off top that you’ve known to be running quarterbacks. Now think for a second, the fact that you can easily name a few players, just goes to show that running quarterbacks, have been the exception, and not the rule for quarterbacks.
      Translation, no one ever says, yeah I’ve been watching for years, and I’ve seen far more pure drop back style quarterbacks to NOT win. Which is unequivocally TRUE.
      The whole stacked box narrative, is just that, just like the entire conversation that dual threat quarterbacks get hurt more.
      Regardless of how long you’ve been watching, you’re still FOLLOWING and believing in these decontextualized narratives.
      I have been watching since the mid 70’s.
      I can name every dual threat quarterback that has been under center in the NFL, which isn’t something I’m bragging about, it’s shameful, that I can remember.
      Numbers wise.
      There has been less than 20 dual threat quarterbacks since the merger in 1970.
      Originally 28 teams and now 32 teams, over a 54 year span.
      An average of 30 quarterbacks for 54 years ~ over 1500 different quarterbacks…
      Less than 20 were dual threat quarterbacks.
      And the original reason had ZERO to do with winning, but was inherently racist… that’s not whining nor playing victim. I lived through it as a player… youth league, high school, Black athletic quarterbacks weren’t even given opportunities.
      I digress, my point is simple.
      A dual threat quarterback hasn’t won…. YET.
      More pure drop back quarterbacks HAVE LOST
      The more opportunities, dual threat quarterbacks have the more they will win.
      Ironically enough the Ravens lost the championship game, because they didn’t run the ball enough, and Lamar didn’t run when he had the opportunities, he played the game to try to erase the narrative, instead of playing his style…
      Also for reference,
      check the careers and success that Dual threat quarterbacks have had in comparison with their peers.
      Per man~ Dual threat quarterbacks have been wildly successful. They haven’t won a championship as of yet. But it will come sooner than later.
      The narrative, is based on an old paradigm, that was initially a dog whistle… just like when I was a young kid in the 70’s, Black guys didn’t play center or MLB, steered away from those positions, because they were thought of as “thinking man’s positions” …
      as for quarterback, many didn’t want a black man as the leader of their team… as Quarterbacks are often tied to the franchise and city as representation.
      Keep watching,
      judge fairly, within context.

    • @EarlPhillipss
      @EarlPhillipss 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@mobrown1198 it’s not a narrative. Its true. It’s not about race. Michael Vick, Kordell Stewart, Colin Kaepernick, Kyler Murray, Justin Fields, Randall Cunningham, Cam Newton and Lamar Jackson all have one thing in common, 0 Super Bowl wins. I get the arguement about not running the ball enough in the AFC champ, but the gameplan was to keep the ball in Lamar’s hands. He had all the room to run for big chunks of yardage because of the passing concepts that were ran, and he didn’t run. Even when their best spy in Willie Gay was injured. I don’t root against LJ, I just see another qb with this play style and I don’t get my hopes up too much, that’s all. At the end of the day, both you and I want the same thing, a ravens SB.
