I love the scene where Jazz is outside the house, and tells Uncle Phil he can't throw him out because he is already outside, so Uncle Phil throws him inside the house.
Let the Will’s dad episode be a lesson to all you fathers, soon to be fathers, or future fathers - Don’t be anything like Lou (a deadbeat) and be more like Uncle Phil (a great father)
My kids recently watched this episode and are going through something very similar with deadbeat, absent dad, doesnt really know them, they get hopes up to be let down, and I could see that they felt that episode and scene. And it's 30 years later or whatever so that's pretty powerful
Me: *when Will starts yelling about how he survived without his dad* Don’t cry, don’t cry. Will: How come he don’t want me, man? Me: Damn it! *starts crying*
Can’t believe y’all missed the part on the earthquake episode “I’m stuck in a basement, sittin on tricycle girl getting on my nerves, going outta my mind I thought she was fine, don’t know if her body is hers!!” Like that line right there made the episode for me!!!!
Fun Fact: The late James Avery, the actor who played Uncle Phil, was also the voice for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' archvillain, The Shredder, in the 1980s animated series.
🎶I'm stuck in a basement Sitting on a tricycle Girl gettin on my nerves Goin outta my mind I thought she was fine Don't know if her body is hers🎶 😂😂😂😂😂
Mistaken identity episode should have been on the list cus that episode was hilarious specially when the guy started singing the look on will's face and him looking at the camera was priceless
@@clintbrew yeah it's funny.. When they go on TV with their confession and Wills gangsta and Carlton's in tears lol. Then aunt Viv wants to scrap with the cops.. Was such a quality show
The last episode broke me... I still get tears in my eyes... The whole cast were so genuinely emotional... Like FRIENDS... It’s sad... Also weird to think though that Will Smith was already in Bad Boys, Independence Day and Men in Black when it finished... And Boom, shake shake shaking the room and stuff
The last entry apparently was improvised since Will broke character and was reminded of his real father, so James Avery just hugged him seeing that he wasn't acting according to script. Oddly enough, this made the episode even better.
This was my childhood right here. I watched this every day in the 90s. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is my all time favorite tv sitcom and Will Smith and the cast are brilliant. Rip Uncle Phil. 💛💛
There are so many episodes to choose from, but I loved the episodes when Ashley went to the co-ed school with Will and Carlton and Carlton screams when she walks into the cafeteria dolled up. Also, the episode when Will becomes a basketball star on the Bel-Air high school team and Carlton gets jealous.
One of my favorite parts of the whole show is when Carlton is in Will's hospital room freaking out and pushes the food over and Will says "I was gunna eat that man." Great way to add a laugh to a super heavy scene.
“I’m not trying to be black, I am black” as an indigenous person I feel this hard. I’m too white for fellow Indigenous people and too indigenous for white folk.
"Breath mints. Breath mints? Breath mints! BREATH MINTS!!!" That joke always cracks me up! XD I also love that Uncle Phil can be awesome when he needs to. He really was a better father to Will than Lou ever was, and I love that.
Outside of the Thanksgiving episode where Will & Uncle Phil were in jail & when Ice Tray came to visit not being on here I have absolutely no issues with this list one of the best lists ever on this channel
I like Will smith he’s characters is funny moments and sad moments in the series my favorite moment is Uncle Philip banks giving a hug to will smith 😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😂😂🤣😢😢😢😢😢
Watching this show growing up is yhe reason i have so much respect for the black community. Amazing show and watching the Reunion made me respect them even more 🙌 this show belongs among the most historically significant tv shows ever.
this show is still amazing, but i would have added "Six Degrees of Graduation". Just that scene of Will saying he won't graduate from high school (because of misplaced pride) turning into a gilligan cut of him dressed as a sunflower forced to perform with other sunflowers kids is hysterical.
Rest in Peace and Paradise Uncle Phil. You were a stable father, a gentlemen with a humble spirit. You are missed more than anyone will ever know. Every character was classic. I wish these shows would rerun
Best show of my junior high/high school days. Simpson's @ 5:30, Fresh Prince at 6 then our Mom telling my sister and i "HOMEWORK TIME KIDDOS" 😊😊😊😊 THE MEMORIES ❤❤❤
Will smith he is character is very funny and a classic in the 90 i like will smith because he is a good actor and funniest in all the time 😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

My favorite episodes in fresh prince are Papa’s Got a Brand New Excuse and Mistaken Identity I like will Smith 😎👍🏻👍🏻🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
The Ethnic Tip.
I like all of them. Fresh Prince is childhood and best show ever.
But main ones are Papa's got an excuse and Mistaken Identity
I like the one with Bell Biv DeVoe shooting a music video at the Banks house
I love the scene where Jazz is outside the house, and tells Uncle Phil he can't throw him out because he is already outside, so Uncle Phil throws him inside the house.
That was one of the greatest running gags of all times
They should've had Uncle Phil throw Jazz inside, then cut to a view of the mansion...then throw him back outside....funny either way though haha
The episode they daydreamed Hilary was going to marry Jazz and Uncle Phil got thrown out, Fresh Prince was so classic
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I remember that time Jazz threw uncle Phil out the house.
It's sad they doing a reunion without Uncle Phil. RIP, Uncle Phil 🙏
I love how they brought back the og vivian

Deadbeat*
Agree that episode whas gut punching and indeed a lesson for every dad. Also the one where Carlton was scared and got a gun and Will take it away.
RDJ 134 To me, I’d see it as a lesson that revenge is not always the best option in life, despite how severe the situation.
@Alex KanyimaThat was a powerfull moment too, Carlton is awesome :)

The episode of Will crying about why his dad didn't care or want to be in his life was such a gr8 performance by 1 of the best actor's ever!
Kicker being, Will is not acting either. That was real for him
It was one of the best performances I have ever seen too

@Uniterical Beats ah alright, I always heard it was due to unresolved issues he had with his own father.
@@simplyjuannie5128 Sorry, it was how I heard it originally. But his response was still genuine. I was only wrong about why.
Uncle Phil is the best TV dad ever, RIP James Avery, you did a great job
Fun fact he also voiced the shredder in the 80s ninja turtles cartoon
Bill Cosby was the best dad when the cameras were off
