I'd really like for NA and Asia to send more skaters to neo-seniors, I find that the circuit is a really good idea but as of now it looks almost entirely European. Also eager to see what Nils will be doing! And as for the olympics, I don't know if I am wrong, but I believe it is the French alpine bid that has moved on to be chosen for 2030. In that case, although i think Heerenveen would be a very nice setting, I can't help but think that the creation of an indoor long track skating rink in France would do wonders for the sport over there. Tons of athletes coming from roller skating, lots of expertise in winter sports, already existing infrastructure... I know that its costly and probably not a priority for the french bid committee given its focus on organizing "efficient" and "sustainable" games, but I believe that there's enough people interested over there to make the construction of such a venue permanent and useful for the entire community. It's also cool for the olympians that get to be closer to the action! I just hope they consider the option instead of doing a temporary venue like they're planning on doing for 2026 cause that would tremendously help the sport in terms of expansion. Lemme know what y'all think! As for the trivia, i have no idea, lol
Great show, love Erin Jackson as a guest. Very likeable and good insights. I would love to see her appear as a returning guest!
Love Erin! She has a great presence!
Love seeing and getting Erin's insights. Speed skating is an amazing sport (need for speed haha) and glad for such great analysis!!
