But if there's one thing for certain he's definitely one of the best God of War 4/Ragnarok players out there.
One of the things I really enjoy about watching your GoW videos is not only do you know how to properly time you attacks but that you use your shield the way it’s intended. Can’t tell you how many videos I’ve seen where the person could’ve easily dodged or parried an attack. Keep up the great work dude.

Tbh, I initially played multiplayer games and wanted to join the competitive scene. Due to Australia being so limited when it comes to opportunities (tournaments, internet, player base), I decided to get really good at single player games instead haha. SP games certainly doesn’t provide the same satisfaction as competitive multiplayer but it is what it is 😉

To see you on a stage or live with tens of thousands of viewers doing the most nuts things in all these games you play against other insane players would be a site to behold.
Its double input for a parry.. kinda scuffed imo. The description says to time it like a parry but I disagree, seems like it’s slightly earlier. Also, you don’t get access to stance change after timing a shield punch but a dev confirmed this will be patched in. I will not be using it anymore lol
@@SmvR You could bind it to touchpad swipe for a single input. Also, from what I've seen, it has the fastest pullout/put away animations, so it's the best for any shield cancelling.

Its best quality is its time to block for reload canceling the spear and messing with axe recall up close. otherwise, it feels like it needs to be buffed as much as outright fixed. It's timing is for sure earlier, but then it becomes attack animation specific and not when you're gonna get hit specific. Why would they do this, unless it too is a bug, like the lack branching??? Would love to know just what they were thinking with the shield/barehanded stuff. Stance switching and rage move set as well, for that matter. All significant downgrades for me. At any rate, great video, per usual. Make me want to play a game I really didnt like all that much :)

Builds for ng+ will be a good idea! I’ll optimise them as best I can. Hhmmm I can’t imagine dragon gauntlets pairing well with berserkers armour given shield usage in fights is situational and it probably won’t benefit from soulless warrior buff as much as vidars.

@@SmvR if possible, you should make combat tips and tricks. I am a fellow GMGOW player but sometimes I can’t catch up with what’s going on in your videos - subtle movements + move chains, etc. The available tutorial vids on YT are of nothing new to me. Would like to see your insights
the thing with games like these for me is that i get so overwhelmed by all the movesets available and i always tend to find abilities that i could have used to better my odds in an encounter AFTER the fight and looking through the skills again lol i will always be impressed by anyone who makes it look effortless to remember and successfully execute everything that is at their disposal
Really the only person I’ve seen proper use of shatter star shield. Fully charged timed correctly it negates most all attacks. Even red ⭕️ circle ones.

That's skill timing and practice also the game most likely glitched from the amount of things happening and how well he was playing
The whiplash parry? Radiant Warden Handles allow you to deflect projectiles with whiplash.

Most likely he just farms the fuck out of the game, has all armors upgraded, then makes a save before the fight and loads the save.
2:15 how’d you dodge into fully charged flame whiplash
Charge whiplash - dodge and immediately press triangle. It’s called doge offset, similar to how you can parry and continue your combo strings
