Not sure why apple has to update an entire operating system just to add super basic functionality to already existing apps, it seems like this could be done just by updating the apps instead of trying to force us to update the operating system every year. I remember the days when a new operating system used to bring great features that made a difference.
It does have bigger changes too such as Stage Manager and changes to Spotlight search and system preferences overhaul. The days of Leopard with its 300 new features are gone, it’s always going to be diminishing returns at this point when the OS is already so polished. I’ve only just upgraded but I like Stage Manager for me it will make a difference.
I’m guessing there’s more going on under the hood than most of us realize in the way of security and privacy enhancements that aren’t talked about as much… and for good reason. Created a ticket with Apple Care + and they have factory reset my machine and have mentioned that it takes 24 hrs to 48 hrs before it can work fine.

Bugs in Mac are different class entirely. Good thing you have a Mac studio and not MacBook. The dock in MacBook becomes unresponsive to touch gestures once in a week and I have to restart the Dock process to make it responsive. Not to mention when Monterey initially came, it had memory leaks everywhere. Hope Ventura fixed this.
Lot of bleating in the comments about why didn't do this before or why do we need a whole new OS. yada yada. does OS updates every year, get over it. Or go use Win 11.
Is it me, or does the new Ventura OS look too much like IOS or iPad OS? You can no longer check the battery cycle count under About this Mac / System Report / Power / Battery Information. Now with Ventura, Apple has Gimped the OS and now it only shows Battery Health - Normal and Maximum Capacity ( Just like IOS )

Mac OS is now, and always will be shit !!!! Until they have a decent native windows management system that works with ALL apps. The amateur programers who work on Mac OS should look at how the Linux distro, POP OS, has implemented windows tiling to see how program professionals do programming.
Ever since YOSEMITE Mac OS is getting uglier and uglier, I am so sick of apples pathetic lack of design for interfaces for desktop, so dumbed down for stupid iphone people ( which i am one of them) , just so they can buy a mac ? this is a busllshit marketing feature. it's all TEXT BASEd not GRAPHICS BASED, its horrible to use!
@@davidjacobs6244 kinda, but ive been using computers since the late early 80's. used macs since the apple 11e, forced to use windows at work, always used mac for my business and personal needs, I just dislike the lack of "DESIGN" in the MAC oS desktop. sure all the Features are great, but the way they have changed the interface is just so boring and ugly, buttons are no longer buttons, just text with a border around them, the title bars have gone, too much WHITE, need to bring back grey gradients and panels. need to put the graphics back into GUI. all the icons look the same , there is no more hierarchy in the visual design. this may work for web design, but not for complex desktop apps. the traffic light button are too small, and look awful. even the new system font is harder to read than the lucida grande font . its all YUK!
when this video ended, Ventura was ready to install! Great timing and I like the new design!
