Bought it yesterday and man.... It. Sounds. AAAMMMAAAAAAZING!!! Pete's demo shows it off nicely but the range this thing has is out of this world. The range of clean and edge of breakup tones is phenomenal (my fav feature), KILLER high gain sounds... If I could only have one amp sim, this would be it, hands down.
Hey Pete, this video popped up in my feed last night, I decided to hit the 14 trial for the UAD plug and give it a try. HOLY SCHNIKES dude… I’ve tried the Marshal Plexi, Fender Tweed, ENGL, Diezel amps…. This is the first guitar amp plug-in I’ve played that not only immediately sounded great, but feels as close to the FEEL of an amp I’ve tried in any plug-in. Wow… it’s the only guitar amp plug-in I’ve played through for like 2 hours straight and loving the feel. I don’t know how y’all did it but wow. As a player who really really wants to get to get to where I love the tones and feel I can get direct and has struggled the whole way through “I like my amps but they are loud and a hassle to record, but the models don’t give me the feel”…. This has renewed my faith. Awesome
Pete, I just found out about this amp plugin yesterday at the PA website. Played with the demo all night long. Purchased it first thing this morning. This amp sounds great whether I'm using my strat, or my LP through it. It's a winner!
Love the amp. On your demo, when using the high pass filter… it is off. That is why there is no effect. Got the plugin both in UAD and native. Love the sound.
Purchased it using the code, which was still valid around Thanksgiving (but plug-in alliance have $29 coupon deals every 5 minutes anyway). Finally tried it out a few days ago and it’s already making its way into some recordings. Incredible value, and sounds amazing with my Fluence-modded JS1000 (DI into an Audient iD44, works fine with an M1 Mac on Big Sur). Would love to own a Suhr amp but.. for $29 this is an absolute no-brainer. The IR section alone is worth the cost. The feel, responsiveness and sounds are truly amp-like.. just blown away. Thanks Pete!
At first it said $180 with me being in England. After entering the code I paid a little bit over £27 which made this a no brainer purchase. I'm looking forward to trying it out. Thanks for the discount code Pete.
@Pete Thorn I just bought it and it is an AMAZING DEAL!! It took me five minutes to dial in a great lead tone using channel 3. The cabinets and final recording chain makes a HUGE difference on the sound and MAN do they sound GREAT! BTW...using my new EVH Wolfgang Special in quilted blue...wow!!! Pete, THANK you for helping to create a great product and thanks again for the discount code. This is a GREAT sounding amplifier (let's not even think of it as a plug in...its that good). Happy recording fellow NERDS!
That’s great to hear! Yeah turning on the boost on channel 2 or three, and then using the Tight and smooth filters to tailor the sound, along with finding an IR you like… Roll the feedback control down to smooth the sound a bit as well or up for more punchy… And then you are there!
Purchased! I've wanted an amp plug in for a while, but have been too unsure of what's actually good to pull the trigger. Thank you for your relentless pursuit of tone and all you do to share it with the rest of us, Pete!
This is seriously good. Got it last night and plugged into it this morning and it kills! Gonna be using it a lot! So glad that it released for all platforms!

Bought it as soon as PA released it. Great sounding plugin of a great amp, as always from brainworx.
I bought it yesterday and am very impressed with it so far. I own a lot of Brainworx/Plug in Alliance plugins and amp sims and as far as guitar amp sims this is easily my favorite. Several of the IR options sound great too. Ton of tonal options on this amp sim.
I headed over and got this after the demo. I can't remember if I have ever spent $30 for something that sounded this good. I have used the MBritt PT100 profile a bunch with the Kemper over the years, and I am stoked on this plugin. I even have a PT15; but it's 12am, I'm not burning tubes, the wife is asleep and everybody's happy...
I have this plugin in my UA arsenal and I use it for pretty every guitar sound I need from classic fender to Marshall plexi to heavy modern tones. Absolutely amazing! I barely use any of the others I have. Love it so much that I bought the real PT100 and cab which is one of the best amps I have ever owned. Sounds great even at lower volumes and with all my guitars. Cheers Pete
Ciao Pete! 😊 I've gone crazy with this amp ever since it came out! Tone, versatility, you can really play any genre on it and I find your included IRs fantastic! 🤟💪
How nice it is to wake up to one of your videos. Pete, your plugin really seems to have everything. It also seems pretty simple to use. Thanks for the content, and as always, excellent work.
🔊✨👍This has quickly become my favorite amp plug in. It feels like three good single channel amps not a three channel amp. They are all record ready and work great in a mix. I love how you dialed in the mids on this amp, Pete. The mids often don’t feel right at higher volume on most amp plug-ins. All three channels have a great and usable mid voicing.
Dear Pete, thanks for your work. Just checked in to PIAlliance to watch out for a copy of PT 100. Thanks so much for your offer. Will love to use it. Your videos are really deep diving with loads of experienced information presented with a very empathetic kind of vibe from a musician by heart (how to say in english :-)) ) ...and great playing btw, man!! Best regards from Germany - bx
Such a great plugin which I have had for a good few months. Thanks Pete. I have just checked and the code is still active. I use it pretty much all the time for recordings. It's this or the DI on my PT15IR. Or your Two - Notes pack with captor X when using my Suhr Hombre. Such great quality products. If John made cables my entire signal chain would be pretty much 100% Suhr these days.
Your demo of the SLO plug-in convinced me to try a software amp for the first time and I love the convenience and the sounds. Although I can’t go without a great plexi -esque sound (my JMP-1 is great but I want to see what I can get out of software) and I believe I have to try this plug-in. Thanks for this (as always) great demo.
Yeah I’m not sure if they actually included my presets or not? From when I made them a few years ago for UA. But I made a basic one called Pete all three channels or something, and it was basically how I set up my real amp most of the time. Good starting point
@@PeteThorn there are ~30 or so presets and that is one of them. Cannot confirm its the same as you UAA one but it is indeed a good starting point. I’m impressed with how good it sounds but this thing also feels pretty great for a plugin.
brilliant, these plugins do pop nice when you hit them with a good tube pedal the crazy tube circuits space charged v2 esp or maxon tdo9, roll on morning coffee and this joy, nice 1 pete :)
Just picked it up on Brainworx and an debating whether or not to get the UA version. Other that the UA version using Sharc processors I really cannot detect difference. Pete, you will be happy to know that while several of the UA guitar amp plugins have GUI problems with knobs not responding to to mouse movements, your plugin is not one of them. My Yamaha Revstar RSP02T sounds good through it, but I'm waiting on my PRS DGT SE where I think it will shine. Best of luck to you.
Pete, I really loved the thoughtful beginning with the clean and super clean parts playing against each other. I love it when you slow down and stretch out! PS: The plugin version of your amp also sounds good. :-)
Downloaded the 14-day trial, purchased the plug-in an hour later! I just had the most fun playing guitar than I have in a long time. I need some help though: I'm having trouble dialing in a nice sound with single coils. I'm not very experienced with amp sims, but I was able to get a glorious tone with humbuckers straight away so I'm not sure what I'm missing. Any advice would be much appreciated!
The link above goes to Plug In Alliance for purchase. I originally saw the plug in for this at Universal Audio. What is the difference between the two if any? Thanks.
Pete at the 8:00 min mark you roll the tight and smooth controls but… they're *off*?!?! both pre and post… mh 🤔 maybe i'm undertanding it wrong. (today it's only 12 bucks so I think Im gonna give it a spin)
Sounds great! Unfortunately it’s not compatible with Mac silicon M1 machines. I bought it but can’t use it 🙁 Update: I got it working on the M1 today. Great tones and fantastic value!
That happened. I made two errors in this video and one of them was that and the other one was the damn thumbnail. Anyways, consider the age, I’m not a young man anymore 🙀👴🏻
@@PeteThorn no worry at first i thought my ear was getting defective because i could not hear the difference never mind haha its a great plugin and i always enjoy your playing! (cant wait for Pete Thorn III)_ (currently playing with it all night)
I just bought it because it is used by one of the most talented and awesome guitarist, Pete.
Hey thanks!!!
same!
Dirk is a great guy, German engineering at it's best. Love my Plugin Alliance plugins.
Me too!! :)

This appears to be what've been banging my head against the wall to find for a year. TY MAN!
THIS IS THE BEST OF THE BEST GUITAR AMPLIFIER PLUGIN THAT EVER EXISTED. MY MOST SINCERE REGARDS TO PETE THORN AND BRAINWORX
Love the amp. On your demo, when using the high pass filter… it is off. That is why there is no effect. Got the plugin both in UAD and native. Love the sound.
The most realistic amp simulator out there. And it says a lot about the quality of the modeled original!

That intro solo was incredible. Thank you Pete.

Hey Pete,
The EMGs are the SAs i presume.. .any added circuitry like the mid boost etc??
Hey Pete, great songs as always! Are you using standard tuning?
Hey, Pete May ask you something. I just bought this plugin. The question, if you use room plugin in that your video ? Thanks alot.
Purchased!
I brought it too and am so impressed I want to use it live. What is the best way to use this as an amp/cab live?
You could take a line out of your interface into a power amo and cabinet.. If you disable the speaker simulation! Or a line out right to the PA

Do ch2!

Pete. Why didn't t you engage the plugin's delay?
Quick question... Are the brainwork and UAD versions essentially the same? I have an Apollo and loading it console to track seems VERY handy
8:02 tweaking the tight control while it being at off 🤣🤣🤣
