Spent my 21k blue crystals on Matt and I don't regret it. He's a real beast now. There is probably going to be a Sephiroth banner in near future though. I just hope I manage to accumulate enough crystals to get his costume.
Been putting in work since the new content dropped. Lvl130 scorpion fight with all negative parameters was definitely scary going into it. Both adds debuff you crazy and with their hp cranked to max it takes sometime to defeat them. The only sigil break phase I experienced was another water wall which is manageable with Black Whiskers water debuff since setting the negative modifier for sigils to max nullifies your ability to break them even with the bonus sigil break support materia on weapons. Suprised I was able to pull it off 1st try, although my water setup is pretty decent with several OB6 water weapons. From what I can tell a magic water team would probably fair better than the physical one I have. Used Glenn, Zack and Aerith. Pulled for Glenns LB water arcanum since it was the 1st one since launch. Really makes me wish they would release a monthly roadmap for banners cause If I had know Tifa was getting one right after as well as water buffing weapon in the last banner i would have saved my crystals for her instead. Not that I dont like Glenn its just hes been so underpowered for so long. The Earth side of this ranking I most likely wont be able to do lvl130. The only earth weapons I have are OB2 holiday rifle, OB2 Jiggy Fam and OB1 Wizer Staff. Did testing with the free battle one cause I wanted the best score possible on the daily one and the best I can beat is lvl80. The all allies have fog at the start is rough even with everyone equiped with esuna fog. Makes me wish they'd release an esuna all support materia weapon. But all in all currently placed in the top 100 of my group but I'll surely drop fast as I have in every ranking event. Leviathan was fun. OB10 Murasame shredded even with out the arcanum outfit(missed by 1 stamp, will forever haunt me.😢) VH3 was a better challenge, ex1 still figuring out but as it stands have him at Tidal Wave lvl6. So done with that for now. Funny note I think they forgot to translate his summon icon in battle as its in Japanese still when it procs. The new banner I want to pull on as I dont have an earth arcanum, same for wind and lightning. Just dont know yet, it no doubt will be an investment for the future. If there really is another crossover banner this soon I dont know if I even wanna bother, been burned by both with my poor luck with pulls. Being f2p since launch Ive had to temper myself on banners for things I really want. At this point it sounds like a meme but I kinda want to save for Vincent. He is my favorite character next to Tifa but I feel like he might release in the next month or 2. I figured he wouldnt until the end of this year but we got Cait Sith way faster than I thought we would. I dunno probably will pull towards the end of the banner and see where my crystals sit after the 2 new 1st soldier chapters and whatever else is down the pipeline for this month. I already got Matt's uniform because I can't get past that monster in story mode, I'll get the one for Glenn now, I don't quite understand the new trailer, are they going to bring Sephiroth as an adult??
Leviathan is epic! And Hawkeye is hard not to draw for. And Matts new gear is definitely power creep. Aerith's Garnet gear is HP Boost and Heal Boost +10 and that is crossover.
i skipped on lucias banner for tifas ice arcanum . dont regret it but who knew they'd release 3 other ice arcanums so quickly . def pulled for earth arcanum this time around
Did lv 115 on scorpion on my first try, so I don't have too far to go on that side of things... though that max hp reduction and attack down is kinda scary.
It sucks seeing the new costumes because then I fall in love with it and want it!!! Yuffie's outfit looks so good! But must hold strong for that crossover. Dang. I hope it's 16 and I hope they drop a Jill inspired outfit because man ... -_- But glad that we have plenty of time to think about it before pulling on this banner.
I had to pull...I told myself to start saving to reach 100k, but first I would have to pull an earth arcanum, a thunder and a healing dress for Aerith or Matt, the bad thing is that I would also have to pull the second one page for matt, but I have 15k, and I think a thunder arcanum is around the corner, also because unfortunately even in this round the arcanum they made is physical, so now I have all the arcanums except thunder but physical, and I need dps magical
Yeah i would definitely save. 15K is not the time to go in on a banner. I wouldn't ever go for one without at least 30k. So just hold out bro! There will definitely be another earth physical arcanum for another char!
Yeah it's better, I note this in my To Pull OR Not To Pull video, but that being said, my point is that Garnet's has not been necessary at all so far to win content.
i was planning on getting the full set for Matt but after hearing of the 'possibility' of something happening id rather hold off. im a new player so im excited if there'll be collabs (like in WOTV FFBE) id just wish list the weapons. the costumes are great but not really necessary [even if theyre all so pretty and cool :(]
Imo i dont think wishlisting elemental weapons without the costume is efficient, so if you're skipping Yuffie just wait for the next earth physical arcanum. However, Matt's is a guaranteed WL. Def do that!!

I love the battle ranking but the name of the event is misleading - "lightning and wind" but we actually need water and earth. I wish they started with lightning and wind weak bosses but I guess they needed to give people a reason to pull on the current banners
@@BodhiJMSRyder After watching some Japanese content creators, I think I understand the event naming now. I've seen them bring lightning resist for scorpion and wind resist for the twins which leads me to believe these bosses have elemental affinity. Never crossed my mind before since applibot doesn't really tell us the boss affinities (apart from the obvious ones like the summons and dragons). With that I hope they just make it known what elemental affinities monsters have and also let us see our resistance values moving forward.

That's what i thought too since day 1 but it's the same shit over and over. Save for months, spend savings on banner with shit results. I'm 100% sure i have the shittiest luck of all player base. I havent gotten a banner that i ran good yet
From what I've found, players that are focused and believe they have bad luck tend to have bad luck. I think you need to force yourself to have an optimistic outlook, and get GOOD PULLS!!! GL my friend!!

The score fights are really tough with max bonus and Leviathan is no joke either. Tried 2 pulls on the banner and got 7 stamps;)
