    If ever a 'vlogger' made me want to experience something it's you. The solitude and vastness of riding through the desert has a certain appeal about it.

    Loving the series, as I’ve commented before balls of steel. My only observation is the riding roads wouldn’t be good for me.plenty of beautiful European roads that are more enjoyable as a motorcyclist.what you are doing is beyond my comfort zone. It’s made me want to just set off without a destination. I cant camp due to my age and physical limitations.

    Hi Ian - another brilliant video, thank you for them all. It’s about to drop below freezing here in Glasgow and snow in the next few days so no need to rush back to Helensburgh. BZ Jack!

    577 miles in one day....very impressive indeed. After travelling in a complete sandy wilderness for so long and really enjoying your on-board footage, I was starting to resent seeing motorhomes and other forms of western civilisation as you headed up north! Looking at your map, it's hard to believe you're only a boat crossing over to the touristy Canary Islands! Anyway, enough of that civilisation stuff, best wishes for your safe onward travels. Take care.

    580 miles is a good long ride in anyone’s book. It’s good you didn’t stay a third day as by my calculation you would’ve been up near 900 miles for the following days ride.😂.

    Hmmm, hahahaha, when you‘re feeling that fine to stay in a good low budget hotel longer than necessary, I wonder if your inner person actually starts wishing to be home, instead of riding. A road-traveler can‘t stay on one place longer than required. ;-) Unless there‘s active program to be found or he‘s tired.

    Very inspiring once again, so much so that I’ve just ordered a whole heap of camping equipment!! Many hours of watching other TH-cam motorcycle camping videos for guidance & recommendations, and it seems I’ve bought the same Trangia spirit burner & stove as you appear to have, so I think I’ve done ok…. Never camped before, so my initial trips to test everything out later in the year will be eye-opening! All the best, Paul

    • @onemanonebike8514
      @onemanonebike8514  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Right. After April - when the weather improves - start my making small trips. I night here and a night there, and then start building up your range and the nights you spend camping. Also, by making short trips, you soon work out what works and what doesnt and how packing your bike soon becomes a dedication.

      @@onemanonebike8514 thank you, great advice. I have a pre-booked week away in b&bs & hotels early May (partially in my favourite country, Scotland!), then I’m thinking of a few days test-camping in the Peak District in late May. After a trip with my buddy to Poland (again, b&bs & hotels), I’ll have a week away camping, probably Scotland again… All this is building up to a journey I’m planning to Istanbul starting April or May 2025, mostly camping, for around 6 weeks.. 😬🫣. Thanks again, and enjoy the rest of your fantastic trip. Cheers, Paul

      No. Prolonged use can incur side effects. I'm old enough and not need any extra health concerns so decided to just take more care about exposing skin and making sure my tent was mozzie free.

      The Vizallo. Its brilliant. Its robust, clips onto and off the bike quickly and easily, and you can also use two little couplers to connect the straps on the bike together so theyre not left dangling. Since I've had it its not let any dust or water into the bag. it really is a superior product and i am so glad i bought this.
