I have first version of CK. And I setup my CK like yours but know footboard high and beater are like yours, and spring tension are on 7 and lenght of DD are all max down.
Om happy for you Tim. I want that feeling you experienced. Unboxing something that touches the soul is an experience that you cant stop from going through. Its there and then that experience is gone. Just the memory of it is left behind. So it might as well be amazing. Its the memory of the experience that you take with you. Then the time spent getting adjusted to the pedals is a gift. And like you said, the day will come when you know that the settings are yours. Its weird to know you (as a drummer 😢)will be learning from yourself again. Somehow taking us back to the beginning. These pedals are special. Just looking at them we can see that there is something special waiting. They look stupid good. So thought out and simplified yet as compex as you would expect. I have not ever put ky foot on a direct drive pedal and im in my 40s. I have practiced the heel-toe on several different types of substrate. All that allow a good audibal pop for each of the four licks. It may not be a good thing as i see most accomplished drummers use a half foot on technique. I would definitely be more prone to use a whole foot on the board technique. So that would need to be pkayed out of me. Glad you have em. They are the greatest thing to happen to a drummers feet ever in my opinion. I seriosly dont see a leap in hardware like this coming again for the feet and speed that is so effective with proper settings and practice. Really as good as it gets for speed and stamina where feet are concerned. Where would we go from there.? I do not see a smartphone like upgrade coming for these bad boys. We are lucky to see and experience the leap forward.
I just ordered these pedals, and as you said in the video, the contact with them is great. Quick response, clear info, and every questions was answered fast. Now i waiting when there ready. Cant wait!!
They don't ship to the USA (patient issue with trick pedal) but you can use a thord party company to buy them for you and ship to the USA. The pedals I were looking at started at $1200, this is before tax, third-party company, shipping, etc.
I just got them. I previously had the DW8002, which I was also really happy with, but I wanted to try something new. I rarely play metal, but mostly hip-hop or something along those lines. The settings don't suit me at the moment. You can play super fast with the preset values, but I still can't get the powerful double strokes with one foot.
@@TimPetersonMusic oh I've been considering it for probably over a year now, but they would literally be worth as much if not more than the electric kit I use! However they're obviously more than worth the price!
How much do they cost? Can't find anything, which is unfortunate.. Would be good to know, how much I would have to save up. Don't want to save up like 1,500 and in the end its abput 2-3000 yk?
Nice review!🤘 Can you share more measurements? Like direct drive length, and direct drive cam dimensions. It is interesting to compare how much these parts are larger than in other pedals
Some guys from the States use these, Man, so, maybe.. Or maybe they got them when they were on tour in Europe or something, I don’t know.. Thanks for checking out.. Cheers..
Yes and no. No: They can’t ship directly to you from Poland. Yes: there’s a workaround where you can ship the pedals to somewhere else in Europe to then get shipped to you.
What do these tend to feel like in comparison to your pearl redlines? I’m familiar with pearl pedals but I’ve never been able to demo these so I’m curious how you’d describe the difference. I’ve played eliminators, axis, speed cobras, dynasync, dw McDd and 9000. Is there a place on that continuum they tend to fit?
Imagine the speed and the responsiveness of Pearl Eliminator Demon Drive (longboard mode) plus Axis Longboard and the DW MDD.. At least that's how I describe it, Man.. As for comparing it with the Pearl Eliminator Redlines (not saying that they are bad, because they are great pedals), with the Czarcie Kopyto pedals I find myself able to play with much ease.. Cheers, Man.. 🤘
Hey, I live in Scotland I got mine for £1,152 - then I had to pay a customs charge of £240(ish) - so £1,400 in total (I got the custom ingrave too, which costs a bit more but looks amazing!). However, Wladyslaw was telling me when I put in the order that aluminium prices were rising by 300% 😮 so basically I was lucky to get them for that price in January 2022. Really expensive but I have to say, these are the best pedals I could ever hope for. Incredible service too. If you buy them, you simply cannot regret it! Money comes and goes but if you are seriously looking for pedals that will last a lifetime, these are the real deal!
@@UpsetToddler_ No problem - no regrets buying these. Yes, there are much cheaper pedals which likely do (almost) just as good a job but if you have a budget for top spec level, these are awesome! Mines are red though, not silver.
Hey, never tried those ones but if they are better than Czarcie Kopyto, they must be something special! I absolutely love these pedals! Had them for 7 months and every time playing them is a dream!
I've been using Czarcie Kopyto for a year now and I can't get used to them. I recently played a Tama hp200 double pedal at a friend's house and it played well. Is this normal?? I am considering purchasing a Pearl P-2052C Eliminator redline chain drive. Or do you prefer the Tama speed cobra 910? Please advise. I also used a Tama Iron Cobra flexi glider and also a Trick Black Widow.
You just need to get use to the immediate response of Czarcie Kopyto’s direct drive, also, play around with the settings to match your style of playing, because every pedal you’ve mentioned, other than the Trick, are non-direct drive pedals.. It took me quite some time too to get used to these pedals.. Even after 6 months now, I still change my settings every now and then.. Cheers, buddy..
How would you like to your Czarcie Kopyto® settings to be, guys??
I have first version of CK. And I setup my CK like yours but know footboard high and beater are like yours, and spring tension are on 7 and lenght of DD are all max down.
That's how should everyone reviewing the pedals. Great job.
