In 2000 I studied in Sussex for 2 yrs. I did science suppy teaching thru out East and West Sussex once a week. Many schools in Sussex offered me permanent jobs but I had to go home to Malaysia for my old teaching job. Students in Worthing called me "the legend", good experience. Cheers.
Welcome back 'The Legend!' 😃
TQ Good Jobs to our Bro and sister. Welcome to Malaysia .May Allah Bless you all and your Family as well. Enjoy the foods ,it's all about food here. Do not worry and stay safe
enter teaching career may sound good in Malaysia, but not all private schools can beat government institutions. even many local private school teachers looking opportunity to joint government schools. educations sectors rank as top priority of annual government budgets. that's why government schools and institutions give a good pay for teachers & lecturers. but also so many foreign lecturers in government universities.
Welcome to Malaysia ❤
Honestly...Learning n Teaching is AWESOME in Malaysia...Malaysian are FRIENDLY...n HUMBLE...n Trust ME they RESPECT their TEACHERS...(Keep on TEACHING n LEARNING New METHODS of Teaching as we are Heading towards Artificial Intelligence..AI..)..
we embrace the saying. Pelajarilah adab sebelum mempelajari suatu ilmu.
What I took from this video is adab is most important to the teachers
Sometimes when the kids bends over when shaking my hands and their foreheads or noses were a little bit wet then it's ewwwww...
This was great video to watch, I'm hoping to move to Malaysia with my four kids and husband, our kids will go to International school (all being well) and I'm excited for them to adapt the more respectful attitude that you mentioned you've noticed. 😊

Thank you for the feedback. We've now added them in 😃
Your accents are interesting. Which part of the UK did you guys grew up in?
We are from Lancashire, which is located in the North West of England.
Very informative thankyou. Ive been looking to move out with my family.
Are there opportunities for teachers with trailing spouse ?
It's not as easy if you aren't a teacher, but we'll be releasing a video on Visas in the coming days. That might help with your question. 🙂
Asalaam walaykum. What subjects were you teaching . Excellent video. I am also looking to move out of the UK, surprise surprise 😂
From your experience, what valuable advice could you give somebody like me . How do i get the ball rolling?
Wsalam. We taught Humanities (mainly RE- Sara) and Maths (Saf) at secondary level.
Our advice would be to persevere and keep applying through TES. The right job will come Insha'Allah. Also make sure you do plenty of research about the school so you know what you are getting yourself into. Good luck!
Great video! How much is enough for a family of 4 per month?
Depending on your rental, food and entertainment expenses, we would say around RM10K.
Assalamu Alaikum
Thank you! That was a great and informative video. I had a question though. I did my Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with Environmental Engineering from Malaysia. But after working for few years in industry (in Pakistan - my home country) and also teaching private tuitions part-time, I have realised that my true passion is for teaching. Currently, I am teaching Cambridge IGCSE Maths and Chemistry to private candidates (not teaching in school) and would like to switch to being a full-time Maths teacher of IGCSE and A Levels. I need some guidance as to what would be the roadmap to this career transition. Which teaching qualification should I do? Can I consider teaching engineering maths at university level (after I progress from teaching A Levels) with my Bachelor's degree in engineering? I am really confused. Please guide.

Wa Alaikum Assalam. Masha'Allah, it's wonderful to hear that you've found your passion in teaching. It can indeed be a fulfilling (and sometimes exhausting) career, especially when you're in the right school. To pursue a career in teaching, we recommend completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), which takes about a year. Universities in the UK and the University of Nottingham in Malaysia offer this course. Additionally, the PGCEi is now available online, allowing you to work internationally. Best of luck with your future endeavours!
@@safandsara thank you for your quick response. Are there any pre-requisites for PGCE?
And is there any email address through which I can reach you in future if I have any questions or need some guidance as it is a complete career transition?
Thanks!
@aadilalvi1347 a bachelors degree is a pre-requisite as this is a post- grad qualification. You can find our email address in our bio. Happy to answer your questions or provide guidance 😃
@@safandsara Thank you so much!

@@RazmikamsonBro x perlulah menghina diri sampai macam tu sekali depan orang asing
Maybe your intelligence is different, please don't generalize other Malaysian as low as yours. Such a shameful statement.
