    White British and American kids going to international schools behaving the same like in their country, underage drinking, going off with adult men and going clubbing. I used to work in such environment so I knew and made friends with these kids.

    To raise kids not easy in here unless you can afford for private. Uk may offer better for less cost. For sure tax also more in uk, thats why everything better. But if you looking for Islamic educations, so its better here,but also private.

    What curriculum do private Islamic schools offer and in which language is this education delivered? Can you please make a separate video on the education system explaining the public and private schoold system including how much they cost in pounds.

      The British Curriculum is offered at most international schools, including Islamic international schools which lead to IGCSE examinations. The language of instruction is delivered in English. We will make a more detailed video on different types of schools and average fees soon. Unfortunately, public schools are for local students only, so expats can only enrol into private international schools.

      I am an english teacher in goverment primary school.. i dont know much about private school but for goverment school starts around 7.30 -1.00.. after that children (age 7-12) go to religious school from 2.30-5.00.. (secondary year 13-17 may have special religious class if they finish good in primary.. we call darjah khas) (i am from johor.. other state may have different approach).. parents are compulsory to enrol their children to school atleast primary.. important exam SPM at 17 years old... later they can either start working or pursuing higher education... local and non local can enroll in sk goverment school but they have to provide their own textbook.. language barrier may exist but i think esp in city they wont be much problem as most kids know or would like to practice speaking so they can learn from each other bahasa - english.. even non english teacher can communicate in simple english at least.. Apart from this formal goverment school there are many tuition available whatever subject u wish.. not only for children n teenage.. even adult if you want to learn reciting the quran there is group and teacher available to cater children and adult too.. my dad 75 years old just finish and khatam his quran class.. you can even go through online class via zoom , google meet even tiktok..

    What are your plans for your kids higher education? Are you planning for them to continue their university studies in Malaysia or back in the UK?

    • @safandsara
      @safandsara  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, our daughter is considering joining the University of Nottingham in Malaysia, as they offer the course she wants to take.

    • @yourfamilydoctor172
      @yourfamilydoctor172 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@safandsara ok 👍 would this course have the same status as if she was studying the course in the UK? Or would it be considered a Malaysian degree? (sorry for the questions, we visit malaysia regularly and have plans to settle there eventually)

    • @safandsara
      @safandsara  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @yourfamilydoctor172 on the degree certificate it would not specify the campus. The certificate is the same as the UK degree and holds the same value. Our daughter plans to complete the 3rd year of the degree at the UK campus for experience, and so that she can apply for jobs whilst she is there.
      Ask away, it's no problem at all. Happy to help. You may also email us if you want further details. Email in the bio.

      @@safandsara Thank you so much, that’s useful to know, if I have anymore questions I’ll email you guys 👍 currently were residing in Qatar, eldest is 11 so we have a few years before we consider Uni. However, nearer the time I wouldn’t mind my kids studying their degrees in Malaysia with a plan to move there. Enjoy your stay in Malaysia

    How do you work around the VISA?
    I have been in Malaysia and VISA is the biggest push back for me.
    You might stay for extended time but what after that! Are you relaying on visa renewal each time?

    • @safandsara
      @safandsara  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We have a made a video on different types of visas available for expats. This will give you a better idea of what options are available.
