CORRECTION: TF6280 can be used on all PC controllers and Embedded PC controllers with an Intel chipset. Performance Class should be equal or above P40. CX9020 I mentioned in the video has to use EL6652-0010. The EL6652-0010 configuration procedure is very similar to TF6280. Thanks for Douglas correcting this information!

Hi! One correction. CX9020 don't work with TF6280 because the performance level. TF6280 and TF6281 require the last performance level (P40). Your notebook is P90 and CX5120 or C6015/C6017 are performance level 40 (P40). Anyway a great video. Congrats!!

The Beckhoff can run as EthernetIP Master. If compactlogix is configured as a slave EDS file, then they can communicate.

1ms is really a challenge requirement for the EtherNet/IP. For your case, I would recommend you use EL6652-0010 hardware solution EtherNet/IP slave terminal. Also keep in mind that you cycle time of the task should be faster than 1ms to exchanged the data between the TC PLC and communication image buffer. This means your PLC CPU will be very busy on the communication and PLC data exchange
Thanks a lot for your video! I have one question though. Right now I need to communicat my Beckhoff PLC with a testing device using TCP/IP protocol. Is it possible to use this Ethernet/IP protocol in my case? Or I just mixed these two different things up?
Ethernet/IP and TCP/IP are two different things. You can check the info of TF6310 for Beckhoff TCP/IP comminication
In case on windows , I suggest you install TwinCAT & included ads.dll(license free) will be more easier to Implement , in some dedicate controller , you can reference the protocol spec on Beckhoff infosys , try google "specification for the ADS/AMS protocol via TCP/IP" the connection type is TCP , use port 48898.

hi, is it possible to connect twincat to micro800 plc?
Probably using Modbus-TCP. The Ethernet/IP in this video is the implicit IO connection Ethernet/IP. The low end Allen Bradley PLC only support explicit messaging ethernet/ip.
