This is why the Israelites suffered so much because they were not faithful to Yahweh our Heavenly Father. Samuel decided to do things on his own strength and not rely on God. When God is not with you . Your plans will fail. So sad 🥲
This is the best interpretation of Samuel and David that I have seen. I did watch this movie quite a few years ago which was posted on another channel where they had Part 2 of David fighting Goliath and that was also the best interpretation of David as King, however, there was no English interpretation for Part 2, I didn't understand a word of it even though I watched the whole thing but could tell it did not divert much from the bible like this movie. Unfortunately, I lost that channel of who posted it. So, thank you for posting this, I better download this one just in case.

Rather than contend with them or punish them, he would submit to their will and give them their own way. Eli neglected his duty, and allow his sons to control him!!!!! refusing to refrain his sons, they continued to minister in Holy office, but when the judge of Israel neglected his work. God took the matter in hand. God could not communicate with the high priest and his sons, like a thick cloud, had shut out the presence of the Holy Spirit.
