Hi Paul.. They are very powerful base mics and work very well on most radios they have a very unique sound to them.. Regarding the Stryker this is a Mark 1.. I have both models and this one receives much better than the Mark 2, They have different boards in them and don't even sound the same on transmitted audio.. Grab one when you can the price keeps going up and the Mark 1 is getting harder to find. This is by far the best export radio I've ever used.. Thanks.
Hi there.. yes they do work very well together the Sadelta really pushes the Stryker on SSB giving a great performance and really good audio. I very often get a good audio report from stations more so than signal . The Sadelta has a unique sound on transmitted audio which often makes stations ask what mic I use. Hey 444 we jere in USA have had light if any propagation ( at least when i check ) totally lost you guys now going on a month+ glad to hear there is some propagation still out there ,mine has been only few moments alt a time and since the radio has been in bedroom and XYL just had her fifth spinal surgery she spends a lot of rehab time in there when out to appointments my skip few and sparse good dxing glen enjoy it while rolling
Hi George.. those solar blasts put paid to the Atlantic skip for sure.. it was pretty quiet here too for many weeks.. this past week or so for Europe including the UK the skip has been very good just today I've had Sweden Finland Germany France Portugal Spain Italy Poland and Africa to mention a few.. last week I had California and Some Canada including Nova Scotia and New Foundland and South America Peru Brasil to name a few so some of the Atlantic skip is still surfacing but it's weak and nowhere near as strong as it was.. many blessings my friend.
