this helped me with my ac issue, my ac was turning on and off on its own and i went into these settings and it started working again i didn't even to anything i just exit and it was working, i even reset the car like 5 times and that didn't work.😟 are they taking money from us and not even having to work on the car !?
it means you haven't run the test. Once the test is run, it doesn't update again until you run it again. This number doesn't update by itself. It would be nice if that number included the date that the test was run.
I went straight to mine (2015 model S, 70D) & it shows 70%. I'd just gotten off the phone with the service center, asking why the capacity of the new battery they just replaced (under warranty) was only 60kWh instead of 70 kWh. She said they only replace bad cells to keep its current capacity NOT to restore to rated capacity.
It states as such in the terms and conditions. If a warranty claim is made for the battery, they will only repair to a level which is expected and not replace with a brand new full set of cells. Basically any repair factors in reasonable degradation.
@@Tesla11ven no it’s just concerning that if ever it drains I don’t want to get stranded cause it’s harder to jump that battery since it’s hidden within the frunk unlike ICE cars where I use a jumper and jump the car
@@NevadaFederalBites The car automatically charges and maintains the 12v system as needed, if it isn't taking a charge then you 'should' get a warning to replace it before it can't hold a charge, but I think that doesn't always work unfortunately because of the way lead acid 12v batteries can completely fail in the end.
Think about what you just wrote. Why would Tesla want you to go elsewhere to get more accurate info on battery health if their goal is to be your source for a new battery or service anyways. They’re gonna tell you what it is because they want your business when it comes to servicing or replacing it, obviously. The TH-camr simply missed hitting Health test to start the battery test. Until it’s run all teslas will say 100% there
Tesla has no choice. If I buy that vehicle I am going to use an unaffiliated counterparty to test the battery. They could be telling the truth but skewing the system differently to give better optimum results for the battery. I simply would rather use a counterparty for a peace of mind. @@josevazquez1042
It's all fun and games until some instant battery failure on internal wiring or PC boards shuts the car down and leaves you stranded and the only repair option is a $20,000 battery replacement.
Or yer head gasket blows contaminated yer oil now only option is 20k on an engine but yer junker aint worth 20k so u start the neverending payment process again
100%, huh….. how much mileage have you lost? I rolled my Tesla out of the dealership at 100% it gave me 274 miles. Now, 14 months later, the most I can charge my Tesla is up to 263 miles. I lost 11 miles in 14 months. I will check my battery level later tonight. Thanks for the video?
You might want to run the battery test first haha
No it’s not, you need to click on battery health and let the test run only after that you will see the real health 😊
My Battery Health display shows "--" and the computer asked to run the battery test. State of charge must be
Dislike because this is FALSE, on ALL Teslas it will show 100% unless you run the TEST
That was your last health read when new. Gotta run the test for the current %. FYI. Thanks for the video.
How long does the test take to run on a level 2 charger?
24 hours
Good to know when I buying a Tesla

How do you Reset the car ?
Mine pops up with no percentage. What does that mean?

I have run this test twice but I still didn't get any % M3LR 2022 (set the charging to 100% for the test) :(
You have to run the test
Tnx bro
You only showed half the video. You have to run the actual test. I guarantee you're not at 100%

Oh wow, I have never heard that response before from service.
Is that legal? Is that what the warranty states?
It states as such in the terms and conditions. If a warranty claim is made for the battery, they will only repair to a level which is expected and not replace with a brand new full set of cells. Basically any repair factors in reasonable degradation.
I thought their policy was to replace the entire battery, not individual cells.
@@reggier2343 I thought so too, but nope.
How run thé test please?
How about the 12v….im concerned about that.
I haven't come across anyone testing that system. Is something wrong with yours?

Run the 24 h test
What is to stop Tesla from making the battery health look better than it actually is? I would have it tested by a 3rd party if buying one used

You must run the test before it actually shows you
17 k Km still pretty new car
say "tap" not click. Only a mouse can "click" you're tapping
Why i cant see health test in 2018 model s
What to do ?

Looks like your fr San Diego 😂
You have to actually run the test. It'll drain and then charge the battery to 100% before the current health is compuyed
not if battery health test is run
1.5years cant be 100%
Mine says --%

This is not Helpful , you need to run the test
you cannot just do that, you need to do a health test, watch it go down 15%
Maybe he already ran the test ?
it was ran, but that was when it was new at 100%. he needs to run it agian to update the number.
cool but i like getting my hands dirty
Bullshit 😂😂😂😂
