Given the average income of most Filipinos, that fruit is not cheap. Here is UK I can buy some fruits cheaper than in the Philippines. Bananas, imported and shipped from South America, to UK are about P46 per kilo, grown in the Philippines and transported a few kilometers they are P40 - 80 per kilo. Grapes P75 per 1/4 of a kilo, x 4 for 1kg is P300 per kg, that's +/- $6 / £5. Here in UK 1kg of imported grapes is +/- £3

The green oranges are native and local. Cheaper prices are inside the market. Street corners sell at higher prices because the rent is higher.

Got to say most of those fruits are expensive, possibly out of season, prime location and across the road from shopping mall, which makes people think they are cheaper than the mall which is true but not by that much.

Wow seems to get anything to buy. Fruits looks that they are good quality. With honey I would be careful, most time from China and not real honey. Better to buy direct from persons selling out of the bucket and is including the wax constuctions. Very delicious. Like your place there

Every day in RP I would drink a large coconut juice. Completely fresh. Cost around 40 or 60 pesos. You know it's fresh since after only a day it would spoil, go bad. Not the crap you get in stores that for last weeks or even months in the fridge.

not a bad looking stand/stands, but it looks like they cater to expat's with expat priced foods. i noticed they have a lot of packaging and are displayed professionally which adds to the price. if i were there, i would stay away from there religiously if i wanted to keep my expenses down. i must be a cheap bastard, but am not sure. good video, and stay safe.

A lot of grapes in that fruit market. I have not seen much of it here in Kidapawan. Bananas are cheaper here though. Saba is about 20, 25p per kilo here, almost half the price.

Prices on fruit go up every year at this time... People buying for the Christmas season... Filipinos believe in everything being a circle shape for table decorations.

The price there are almost the same as the United States. I know because I buy fruits here in the U.S almost every other day.I also see some cheaper ones but all in all they’re the same as the United States. That’s how I see it. Prices are really going up exponentially, also with meat and fish.
