    This is my holy grail of automobile
    The driving pleasure at its best.
    There is no substitute. THIS IS IT.
    No modern car comes even close.

    Three cheers for Silodrome!!! As the wonderful seventies still echoes on my mind, anything coming from that era is mostly welcomed. I’ve noticed the rego SENIIIA, a tribute to a legend: Ayrton SENNA da Silva.

    Well, you've set yourself a pretty high benchmark to maintain here! Great footage, recording and editing, just enough facts for the nerds, good presenter and location, and the car... Great stuff Silodrome.

    Great visuals on this video. The narrative and commentary were well done also; I liked the flow between the history of the car and the description of this specific build.

      I have to refer you to the early petrolicious short films. I think we would prefer less of the nit-picky details such as which roll bars or size wheels the thing has. We'd prefer to hear it drive and learn about the owner's relationship with the car. There's more to the story than the spec sheet. And please, air-cooled 911's get so much attention. How about something interesting?

    Still would be even better if he learned to pronounce Porscheeeee the right way. You would not say Bugatt or Range Rove ... would you ? I find it disturbing.

    Period correct puritans be damned, coming from the motorcycle world and I'm here to tell you, customization is the spice of life. The first thing all bikers do on just about any motorcycle is chop and bob the tail, even on a top notch superbike... this must be done immidiately before its first ride, if nothing more than a liscense plate holder...

    • @overbuiltlimited
      @overbuiltlimited 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Whatever bro. I have the shields on my Fuchs pointed AWAY from the valve stems just to weed out people like you. Anyone who points out that they “should” be pointed towards the valve stems is no one I want to talk to.
      The Porsche name thing is like that. And before you go into the lame argument about how it’s disrespectful can you say without a shadow of doubt that you pronounce every car manufacturer name properly? How about every city or town that you visit when on vacation? How about every name of every person you meet? If you pronounce a single one of any of those incorrectly then your a hypocrite for complaining about how some bloke pronounces Porsche.
