Hey Gary, Those illustrations were actually free and you could download them by entering $0 in the price field. Though, it was really nice of you to support their efforts. Nice video by the way 👍. Its always helpful to see someone explain their thought process so that beginners can also start to make sense of how to go about doing things. Loved it❤️
So, the idea of the APP seems to be a proxy (a service or agency) between an emplyer and an emplyee with the only possible difference from other similar ideas that these are working from home (since it says decentralized), which is why they need to prove their skills first in written form (online). It's a very old idea just with a new packaging, and testing is done in alll of them, so that part is redundant in the beginning but shold be in the details. But I know that with any new site I visit, i want the headline to be very very explicit, and there fore using words like climbing and ladder are too abstract. Better would be something like Connecting freelance coders to emplyees or even simpler Find freelance coder jobs, because that's what the app helps with. I think the page below that should have a short illustration oif the service, in more details (like 3 steps), which is online tests help to define your skills on which you will get employed.
Hey Gary, I am the guilty one. I removed a tag from the header when I was playing around with the code. Now the gradients should work as always. this is the code you get by clicking on the color: - linear-gradient(45deg, #B1E0B0, #ACB4E7) and if you click the CSS: background: #ACB4E7; /* fallback for old browsers */ background: -webkit-linear-gradient(45deg, #B1E0B0, #ACB4E7); /* Chrome 10-25, Safari 5.1-6 */ background: linear-gradient(45deg, #B1E0B0, #ACB4E7); /* W3C, IE 10+/ Edge, Firefox 16+, Chrome 26+, Opera 12+, Safari 7+ */ My apologies for the inconvenience: Also, thank you so much for featuring Colors & fonts. It' s my little side project. You are awesome Gary
Omg Man I admire how you manage to make time for being a musician, designer, developer, body builder, and video maker.. That's crazy cool. Maybe make a video about how you manage all of that. Kudos
Sir ,Thanks alot for this video & taking time out of your busy schedule, would love to see more such videos where you design UI ! 22:55 my favorite color
I love the idea but ugh I can't stand this particular style of stylised illustration. These flat colourful people with those bouncy enlarged haircuts seem to appear on nearly every developer oriented site right now.
probably because this makes absolutely no sense in this sort of app. if you want to pair employee skillset ratings with employer skillset searches, you need a stable and secure rating which is hidden from anyone not searching for this particular one, and have strict data access policies. otherwise it's just a data miner's dream operation. what does decentralization have to do with that?
You do a lot of generic designs, do you think you could make a quick tutorial on designing something more functional like a responsive sidebar with an embedded chat?

As a developer (who wants to learn more about UX/UI), those are very handy tips!
Some even confirmed my "intuition".
Thank you!

For the description text I would’ve used “Take our quick assessment test and get connected with employers around the world in less than 15 minutes!”
The Bob Ross of web dev. Thanks for all these videos man.
Sir ,Thanks alot for this video & taking time out of your busy schedule, would love to see more such videos where you design UI !

The title has a typo. Great tip, thanks.

I liked the idea! Thank you Gary, it was amazing!
Did not see the full video yet, but a great idea! Respect for your effort.
You nailed it Gary!
I love your videos so much man. Thanks for all the value
I love the idea but ugh I can't stand this particular style of stylised illustration. These flat colourful people with those bouncy enlarged haircuts seem to appear on nearly every developer oriented site right now.
True, they're extremely overused right now.
They are so annoying for me. Can't stand the look of those animations.
It is over used but if you use them properly...you can make a great thing.
thanks for ur efforts man :)
What software or app are you using to illustrate that UI design, looks like different from Webflow.
Checking for the #RandomUI section on your discord, but not seeing it. Was it created?
amazing!
I'm gonna do it
I'm learning so much from you
29:36 "lightening" fast
And this, kids, is why hiring a proofreader is NOT a waste of money.
Awesome tutorial! Thank for help :)
wow , please sir am very bad at choosing colors and fonts , please any remedy for that ?
Use an interactive online color wheel, you can't really go wrong if you stick to its recommendations. The canva.com one is great.
Just here to say wow!
Really appreciate man
Good stuff!
But the design didnt reflect anything about the app being Decentralized

For "lightening" see "lightning".
Thanks fot this idea
Wow you just amazing, and I really want to as great as you someday 😆
There's a typo in the title lol
What is the name of the app you are using to design in?
Looks like Adobe XD
Uicoach is also good website for random project generator
Getting sort of a mailchimp vibe (excluding the colours)
