Who is Gary Simon? Well, I'm a full stack developer with 2+ decades experience and I teach people how to design and code. I've created around 100+ courses for big brands like LinkedIn, Lynda.com, Pluralsight and Envato Network.
Now, I focus all of my time and energy on this channel and my website Designcourse.com.

Hey all! I'm recharged and refreshed to knock out another year of content. This will be year #11 doing this just about EVERY week! Whew.
We've got some exciting new tools to use, along with all of the opportunities of AI. I can't wait to cover this stuff in the coming year.
Should i just focus on no-code and create websites or should i learn uiux in this ai age
@@Krizzoa Getting into no-code will be wiser decision here. Multiple no-code websites already have the features to build design templates. Although these templates don't always have the desirable animation and visual qualities. So having a prebuilt UI/UX file will always help you visualise the results when you build or make changes to a website.
Thank you for featuring my website on 5:52 🤝
Nice site!
Bro has a Music Man Majesty, truly a designer!
You can't replace a front-end developer with Framer or Webflow, because there's nothing advanced like React or Angular involved. Framer is the worst, since you can't export your code like you can in Webflow.
I'm so excited for your next free course
EVERYONE will need to become an "AI Wrangler". AI is useless without human direction. UX designers are the biggest time spend on any project with the lowest return unless something accelerates it, like AI. I'd never do a project without UX taking a look, but UX is always as much time spent as development and has gotten 4/5 projects cancelled for time/budget over the last 3 years where I sat with my team idel while nobody finalized designs, and sign offs came in the dev sprint they were due in. These are not small projects, I'm talking Sony, FedEx, Universal Studios, Docusign.
well said
Well said 🎉
I'll tell you my experience, I used an AI tool to generate a logo. Took 30 iterations and all I got was an image I "settled" for. 😅 I got fed up of generating stuff, if I had the money I'd pay someone.
Build with peach too
can you do a video comparing 2000s ui with 2020s ui and the philosophies behind them
would have been nice to see you spend longer on the aesthetics
bro u have a majesty 😍
Nice Content
Can you believe i was thinking of you and takimg your course today ans here i see your pos t.
Can you generate the code with the tools but not be stuck in their eco system?
Thank you!
Gary, I am looking for an AI UI that is as flexible as Infranodus. Have you seen any interfaces with similar capabilities?
Where can I learn that awwwards type of web development not designing ❓
I am on that way, learn first gsap and lenis, and then you can start with THREEJS.
You can use gsap with Redux, Next, Vuejs, etc...
If you doesn't know anything of this, you can start with the basis of Javascript to understand the logic and variables
@MAB015 okay
please add timestamps
Lol no code
That one human thing ai cannot do is "Empathise". It is a prediction model. Tomorrow there will be some new ai system that reads emotions, empathises, etc. But, who is paying for all those pain in the ass paid features?
Waiting for the html css crash course 2025
So this is not a music making tutorial...🤨
no unique news, almost.
wow
Rive stinks at SEO, ADA compliance but I think it's pretty cool right up to the over use of it that is inevitable.
As I mentioned in the video, they'll be addressing accessibility concerns and SEO n' such. I speak with the founder at times. :)
@@DesignCourse sure they will...
