Can't wait to put one in my Diana Stormrider Gen I and maybe later put one in my Diana Stormrider Gen II
I think the fill tube/gauge off a diana bandit will work in the stormrider . Then you will have a fill pressure gauge too .
I just installed it in my Stormrider and set the regulator to 125 bar - but the gauge on my rifle shows only around 80-90 bar. What may be wrong? 😬
It must be said that I pumped the rifle to 200 bar via an external gauge 😉

Does anyone know the exact outside diameter of the moderator/suppressor on the end of the barrel?

How do I know how much to fill the airr ifle now when my gauge does not work anymore? What happens if the pump's gauge doesnt show correct pressure?
it is necessary to use an external manometer or purchase a plug with a quick fill and a manometer.
If the gauge on the pump shows poorly, it is the same as if the gauge on the airtube shows poorly. Here comes the safe safe dimensioning of the airtube at higher than operating pressures .

the same regulator can be used for different outputs including 12ftlbs.

Was the port replaced for one with a larger diameter hole for more air ?
If so, the port on the air tube & the barrel need to be larger as well.
The airgun on video was limited to 16J and required a larger transfer port for proper operation with regulator. Replacement always depends on the specific model of the rifle.
You indicate that a new transfer port comes with the regulator - when did that start? I ordered one and installed one in a Diana Stormrider that I have yet to shoot across a chronograph. Have a air pressure level indicated on the rifle that makes me believe the setting that I adjusted to is too low despite several adjustments to increase the setting / adjustment.
If the regulator was not purchased directly from our website, but was supplied by Diana (they have their own instructions), then the packaging may differ and in this case it is necessary to contact them directly. This transfer prot is especially suitable for European countries where there is limited performance. The outlet pressure can be increased with a side screw. i turned the screw too much. how can i reset the regulator setting....i didnt think its possible to turn this thing in way too much... -.-

when purchasing a regulator in our e-shop, a transfer port with a 3mm holle is also included.
you can make the hole to 4mm ,i have with 1,65 gramm diabolo round 38 joule. 245-250 ms, with 0,85 gramm 270 ms,10 min work in selfmade,

I been using these regulators now since August 2019 - had it down to ~60-65bar according to the pressure gauge in front of the regulator. The regulator kept this setting till last weekend.
I first noticed a shift of impact by about 1Mil up on the field and the loud report, then checked the system pressure and it must crept up to 100-110bar. Now I'm wondering what went south on the reg without taking everything apart a million times. Is their a video that shows how the do this particular Altaros regs?
if dirt got into the system, then the pressure may have risen and the outlet pressure adjusting screw may have been pushed off.
If you make a longer flat-blade screwdriver, it is possible to readjust the outlet pressure without removing the regulator. If not, just unscrew the front plug and pull out the regulator. Unlike all other regulator models on the market for this rifle, this one is the fastest installed and removed. For more information, just write an email.

Does the Transfer Port you include with the Regulator increase muzzle velocity (FPS) ?
Would drilling the existing one do the same thing, for someone not buying your regulator ?
And what is this "outlet pressure can be increased with a side screw" ? Does this increase FPS also ?

would this work with the smk pr900w ? i believe the rifle is exactly the same with the only difference being the power is 11.8 ftlb just under the legal limit for the united kingdom

We have no experience with this particular model, but according to your appearance you should be right and the regulator can by install in this model.

This regulator does not need to breathe.
Is it enough to replace only the transferport to get more joule?
it always depends on more parameters. For some rifles, just increase the transfer port its enough for more J.

@@ibow177amg3 Type of rifle was intended to mean that there are a number of Diana stormrider models on the market, with different settings being supplied to each market (state). So this cannot be said, for some rifles yes for some no.

Why do I need to replace the o ring?
it depends on many things. It is generally around 2-6 years. The service life of the seal extends to store the rifle at a low pressure of 100-120bar
Mám Artemis PR900W, je to skoro to samé jako Diana Stormrider. V ráži 4,5 mm. Naměřil jsem u ní úsťovou rychlost kolem 235 m/s při tlaku 200 bar a 175 m/s při 100 barech. To je rozdíl 60 m/s! Pokud bych použil váš regulátor a nechal na něm nastavený výstupní tlak 100 bar, tak bez výměny transferportu by byla úsťová rychlost kolem těch 175 m/s, jestli jsem to správně pochopil. A tlakoměr na zbrani by ukazoval stále regulovaný tlak 100 bar, dokud by tlak v kartuši neklesl pod tuto hodnotu, je to tak? Nevíte náhodou jaké úsťové rychlosti a energie střely ráže 4,5 by se s touto vzduchovkou dalo dosáhnout při použití tuningového transferportu a tuningové pružiny při nastavení regulátoru na 100 barů?
Přímo na dílně jsme 4.5mm tuto verzi neměli, ale osobně si myslím, že by také bylo vhodné vyměnit transferport za větší a nastavit například výstupní tlak 110-120bar. Menší tlak nedoporučujeme , jelikož je zde zbytečně silná pružina úderníku a mohlo by docházet k velké spotřebě vzuduchu na jeden výstřel. Jak jsem již psal, pušku jsme na dílně neměli, takže ani orientační hodnoty nedokážu přesně říci, ale myslím si že by se puška měla dostat na 16J.
