The blatant hypocrisy is what gets me about Punk’s side of this. The dude has Ryan Nemeth kicked out because of “his willingness to stir the pot” and proceeds to cut a promo burying Hangman Page. He says in regards to Hangman’s shots at him, “Make sure the apology is as loud and as public as the disrespect,” then proceeds to quietly send Hangman and apology letter after the promo he cut. He says he wants what’s best for the company, then proceeds to have the President of Talent Relations banned from the building for breaking up the fight because his boy, who was in the fight pulling hair and BITING PEOPLE, isn’t allowed to be an agent in the building. Punk’s behavior throughout this whole ordeal has been EXTREMELY disappointing and Tony K better but up and get this situation under control before Punk runs everyone off.
If Punk is the catalyst for Ryan Nemeth to send that tweet because of something Punk said in an article that had nothing to do w/ Nemeth, then that would make Hangman the catalyst for Punk going off the first time. I don’t like that logic.

There's no AEW drama. It's literally all CM Punk drama. Hangman has avoided talking about all of this for months. All Punk had to do in Greensboro was to cut a nice "send everyone home happy" promo, that I'm sure he's done hundreds of times, but, because he can't help himself, because he's such an insecure jerk who gets triggered by a fan's sign, he has to cut a promo on a guy who he knows is not even in the building, and then fan cam footage goes viral, and we're here now. AEW roster did a great job recovering after the All In debacle, the shows felt better and drama free Once Punk returns everything has this black clowd and feeling that kinda ruins the shows

The product, the people, the matches all felt significantly better. Now it feels like no one really cares or wants to be there. Last week I didn't watch a single AEW show beginning to end. First time since they launched. I just didn't care, because I feel really bitter about how Tony conducts his affairs and it tarnishes the whole product when he places one destructive asset ahead of the roster of talent who built the company. Also, NJPW and the G1 had my full attention, and AEW feels lacking in comparison right now.

Collision feels second rate to me. Not because the wrestling isn't there, but because there's so little stories told. So little importance or stakes. Punk is holding a fake title, TNT title doesn't get contended, women don't get any time, trios title isn't defended. There are no stakes. They have to pull Darby and OC there to keep ratings up. If you want to say it isn't everyone (either literally or figuratively), that's fair. But I don't think we can say it's just Punk, especially since there are documented instances of other wrestlers fanning the flames (Guevara, Andrade, Kingston, Cutler, Nemeth). And those are just some of the ones we've been made aware of.

The Jack Perry stuff was a no-story, the Hangman stuff was barely a story (all in jest to the crowd, apologized, both are good), the Ryan Nemeth stuff is the only story here. But add everything together and it sounds like there’s constant drama, except there isn’t and it’s just a typical day at the office.

He says in regards to Hangman’s shots at him, “Make sure the apology is as loud and as public as the disrespect,” then proceeds to quietly send Hangman and apology letter after the promo he cut. He says he wants what’s best for the company, then proceeds to have the President of Talent Relations banned from the building for breaking up the fight because his boy, who was in the fight pulling hair and BITING PEOPLE, isn’t allowed to be an agent in the building. Punk’s behavior throughout this whole ordeal has been EXTREMELY disappointing and Tony K better but up and get this situation under control before Punk runs everyone off.

People blew this drama way out of proportion. The comments punk made on collision was meant in a joking matter. Watch the segment and you could tell he was just joking around. Dirt sheets took it the wrong way, like they always do with stuff, and made punk the bad guy. It was literally stated Punk texted hangman to apologize about it because it came off worse than he meant. Also other reports came out he had no clue hangman wasn't let in the building. People are blowing this whole situation out of proportion.
