Wow, pretty eye-opening video. I've noticed I've been using some of those techniques unconsciously, but not always correctly. Now that you've raised awareness, I finally spotted lacking areas and can target them 😀
Are you an actual teacher? Because your videos are motivating me to improve, I'm from Germany and learned english by aging video games, I still have problems to spell world, my grandma confused me, I need help to pronounce the R more, could you do a video with pronouncing the R?
Oh boy, Greg you know what, I keep looking at all these English learning channels and the content is great. As a teacher, building my channel is daunting but I’m always inspired by great videos like this. ;)

Hello. Thank you because of perfect video! I learn the English language . So structure of my sentences maybe not right. I'm sorry. I have a question. It is important for my exam. Please answer this. A lot of countries get different minerals. How is that sentence in Passive Voice ? Different minerals are got by lots of countries. (Is that sentence correct
I hàd a roommate in college from Manchester (I'm from Chicago). I spent a year asking why she would stick the " r " sound between certain words (this was before the internet) and she spent the entire year telling me she had no idea what I was talking about. I could never get hear that r. She just thought I was a dunce.
In short, native speakers distorted their language for just own ease, and put the outsiders in trouble.. Making words short or linking word , doesn't make sounds beautiful instead just distortion and beauty of language.
When I was In the school our teacher used to pronounce NOTATALL. As the way you do, so I've been doing the same as well, but some years ago a video says.. Do not pronounce like this ever 😭 Can you imagine how I felt? 🤣
No wonder my British friend pronounced "Heinrich-Heine-Allee" like "Heinrich-Heine-Rallye"! 😅😅😅 His native German students fell about laughing each time he said it - and he had no clue why.
