lol im team cammie on the hygiene topic. all that crunchy sand up in your scalp. also curly hair tip, im a hair stylist. cammie was right about leaving your curls soaking wet. you should also only comb them when wet with a wide tooth comb preferably. scrunch your hair with a microfiber towel or a t shirt, add product if you want and scrunch again , diffuse if you want some big ass hair. xo love you guys

The hair washing debate is not about hair washing the way I see it. It's about giving space to someone to be themselves even if that is a little bit 'disgusting' in our society. It is about power dynamics between a relationship and how you can co-exist with someone while still feeling that you can be your self authentically. And yes it can get down to something as silly as hair washing once a year. I am so happy that Cammie was able to let this go truly! This is huge and in Taryn's place I'd feel seen. Truly sorry if I made anyone feel upset not my intention but because I see a lot of people just choosing between the two, by listening to you two speaking about this I felt that was not the real debate. Coming from a curly haired person it’s totally normal not to wash your hair for like a week makes those curls luscious 😊Now if at the beach the salt is super drying so that is probably what Cammie is feeling when the crunch happens. Keep your body regularly clean and thats all (except during the hair washing vacation week of course). Thats how they teach kids, to do higiene and fluids all private and regular, so hopefully when they're adults they'll finally get it right lolll. To be respectful and also free from dead cells. Also why copy that dudes bad behavior? Would you jump from a bridge if he does hahaha . Please cam go teach him a thing or two
