Day after Pharoahs passing missing all this beauty and missing the time that i spent with Joe Bonner playing and hanging with him and hearing stories about his work with Pharaoh and all the other greats.....I feel truly blessed to have been a part of al this if even indirectly!!!
I've been truly blessed to have seen Mr. Sanders WITH Leon Thomas singing and playing "Creater" back in 74 AND seeing him in the 80s, 90s all the way up to a few years ago and being able to share his music and see him live WITH my wife AND my daughters. He and his music and the musicians he shared with us have been a true inspiration to all of us individually and as a family.. It's so calming knowing his music will continue to inspire us. WE Dig Pharoah Sanders..Peace

Such joyful, love-filled music. Been listening to Pharoah since I was a teen back in the late 60s, and I can't even say how much I love his playing and his music? He is a gifted musician and a shaman -- truly one of the way showers... Thank you Pharoah!
Proof positive that there are enough adolescent Bots out disliking things to shove lame videos forward that this video got hit 8 times by blind computers. @Soun Resinite I'm with you on the record pops. Grain, texture! Like music printed on leather. Enjoy in 2018 and beyond, everyone!!

U2 had a song 'Rejoice' that came out in October of 1981, though they had played it over the summer of '81. Coincidence? or did U2 know about Pharoah Sanders back then?
That's a fascinating question. I love early U2! And I love that song, Rejoice. I'd be surprised if they were aware of Pharoah Sanders back then, but who knows. Interesting indeed.

Walk with us, dance with us, sing with us, rejoice with us, Join us in peace and love.
Truly a gem. I have found myself listening to this jam 5-6 times in a row.
Pharoah Sanders is as John Coltrane 7-11-22 5:45A.M. Roosevelt Edward's Jr. I love the song and music. It good.
民族音楽っぽい始まり、電子音も入ってる?9分過ぎに、コルトレーン張りの名調子に驚かされました。
洗練と混沌の入り混じった不思議なsound。
