also i know it's been said a few times here in the comments but as an adult spooky lady who has been a spooky girl all her life i want you to know how much it probably means to your spooky girl that you are nurturing her creativity and enjoyment of all things dark and different you are such a great dad (still giggling about you telling your kiddo you'd murder him so he could try it out 😂) the world needs dads like you, girls need dads like you 🖤🤍 you're a spooky hero 😌
As soon as you played the "That's what she said" clip, I subscribed. Then I saw that you are really the average person who doesn't know where things are, aren't sure if things will work out, and wants to do a great job. I get so discouraged when I see other channels and they have a perfectly lined up array of tools on their wall, they just happen to have all of the supplies and know right where they are. YOU are normal!! I appreciate you, good sir. Thank you for this video. I will be attempting to do this myself. Good job supporting your kids and having a sense of humor.
Could you please post the plans for this on here or direct us to where you found them? This is something I want to make it for my daughter who's a Goth kid. She loves it!
They will cut all these pieces to length except probably the toe pieces, but they won't do any miters, just straight cuts. Unless you get super lucky. You could try a local lumber supplier, or a builder at one may be willing to do it for a few bucks.
hey spooky girl you are amazing and if you put your mind to it you can do this on your own i bet!!!! 🖤🤍🖤💚🧡🖤 i actually plan to try my hand at making one i have never worked with wood or built anything without a book of steps but i'm brave and determined and willing to waste money on wood paint and nails lol i hope you decide to give it a try too you can do anything you want remember that!!!
I’m goth and my father passed away before I can remember him, and I want to build a book shelf like this. It’s amazing you’re making this for your daughter and your support matters tremendously to us🙏🏻🫶🏻
A dad who supports his daughter’s gothic interests is the kind of dad everyone’s lucky to have 🥺 great vid!!

@@sparkybuiltwoodworking you are welcome
such an amazing Dad
and this is beautiful
the measurements of the coffin is on the description?
how much did the supplies cost? thanks so much for the tutorial i can't wait to try it myself
What are the angles of the cuts you used
Why did you leave out the angles to cut each board end?
What degrees did you make the cuts?
Did you bevel the edges, or leave them 90°
Each end of the 4 boards that make up the sides are beveled.
How do I cut angles?
Where's the link to the plans?
My brain cant wrap itself around how to figure out the angles. That math class was over 25 years ago for me. Ugh
Need the link to diagram ❤❤❤
Can Home Depot or Lowe’s cut the wood pieces for me ??
They can, however, they are never precise. Pine wood is pretty easy to cut with a good handsaw if you do not want to invest in power tools.

Lowes can cut wood most likely (I’ve never personally gotten wood cut there) but i work at one
can you write down all the stuff you used please
I wish my dad did woodwork so i can have one too 😂🥲
