Kia Sportage is a diesel. Red line on the rev counter is 4.5k, glowplug light was on before cranking and it sure sounded like a diesel 😉

Yes it is! Imported directly from Japan to Russia most probably through Vladivostok.

more extreme cold condition, system can start, but not ready to drive due to HV battery is too cold.
if HV battery temp below -40C, maybe system can't start due to too over cooled.
