    • @noahjbarr
      @noahjbarr 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Swinging the boat around the corners, steering from the front end or more effective(like a car)
      Pretty sure they just haven’t remember all the creeks (but idk)

    • @davidschick7269
      @davidschick7269 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Boat would flip without the swinger out front the transom would get flooded also!

    • @alphashot3910
      @alphashot3910 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The co-pilot helps steer and control the plane. Around corners where they slow down they will move closer to the front to lean into the turns and on the straights they will move back so that less of the boat is in the water=less friction=more speed

      @@ZacPogorecki Thanks for uploading a great video and congratulations on having a well set up boat , but , your claim of 100 kph top speed is greatly exaggerated. If the cav plate is roughly lined up with the bottom of the boat the maximum pitch prop your using would be 15 to 16p . At 6500 rpm your top speed would be 70 kph and thats what it looks like from the scenery passing by . Even 7000 rpm with 16 p will only get you to 80 kph . To get 100 kph you'll need to turn a 16p prop to 9000 rpm .

    • @scottpogorecki1052
      @scottpogorecki1052 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jobdone3700 you are absolutely spot on with your RPM range and sorry to disappoint but you are incorrect, These setups with a stock standard completely un touched 30hp with a stainless prop do a minimum of 70kph, Most do mid 70s, Add the modifications theses engines have in this class and mid 90s to 100 is achievable.

    That aint no dinghy. That is a flat bottom , flat water boat. Designed for shallow water rivers, bayous, swamps/ marshes, and canals. I used to race those boats on the pearl river, Louisiana Mississippi border.
    Dinghys are small shallow v hulled boats for use in bays and oceans, where the water is choppy and wavy. Dinghys are usually used for going from big boat to shore. Us sailors use our dinghys for quick boat to shore transport and run around boats.. Mine is scary fast😯😊

      @bacoon6499 ปีที่แล้ว

      aaron, no offence but these aussies are well aware of what a dinghy is. Its a wide term name in australia for any small alloy boat. They use proline flat bottom boats because they are the best suited hulls for this type of racing. Look up tinny bashing on youtube.
