Very nice maiden flight! Congrats! I love the turbine sound. The machine looks very responsive on cyclic inputs! Must be a big joy to fly it! Many happy flights!
Sweet looking heli. I know a lot of time went into it. Looks like the tail needs a bit of tweaking on the gyro. It is hunting a little, but not horrible. Now all you need is whisper mode! haha Follow my leader!
And even the start-up with turbine first and only then engaging the rotor system is as the original Gazelle, on which Blue Thunder was based on! Bravo 👍 Now it only takes to step up and do integrate the silent mode.

Man oh man. How do you sit with those giant cojones, sir??? I would have been too damn nervous to take off with a helicopter as expensive as that one with those trees in the back. I'd be too nervous I'd fly too close and clip one on the maiden!!!
Super cool!! But honestly, no matter my confidence or skill level, I probably would have picked a bigger field with far less trees incase something weird went askew on the first flight. I imagine there is quite a bit of money invested in this thing. Super cool!!
Looks very similar to the Army Air Corps Gazelle light helicopter that used to fly regularly out of Middle Wallop, Hampshire. It is a great training aircraft and has the speed of a Gazelle, too.

Nice bird! But the pixalation around it in flight seems a blue screen would work better in working with foliage background, green screen conflicts with it.. hope to see it really fly sometime... nice photoshop skills though!

Pilot is probably not so skilled. Even for a maiden, hover orientation shouldn't matter.
@@jriley-tv1on A good pilot would take any benifit alloted. A less skilled or over confident pilot might crash this off balance wobble monster.

It actually sounded like a small version of the Gazelle helicopter that the British forces used to use.

It was a pre flight for maintenance adjustments only. See Rodney's other video's for nose in high in the sky video's.
