Great shout outs! I really like the 49 shoebox! Just something about these cars that make them really cool. 1958 was an awesome year, that's when I was born.
For Chopped top windows and resin bodies, try acetate sheet. Revell used to use it for cut your own windows in the Stone, Woods & Cook Willys, Anglia, Thames, Austin, Henry J and lots of other kits back in the 60s. It's great for flat windows and is flexible, so curved windows can be done. I'm fixing to order some myself. Another option is PET, like used for water bottles.
Thank you 😊 sir very much, that really means alot. BTW I might have told you before but you build Amazing stuff. That pink 32 a few weeks ago....WOW!!!! Absolutely LOVE IT and........I'm gonna have to copy that color for a 32.....hope you don't mind lol.
Hi Rob!! Your 49 Ford is nice!! The drag wheels you have on there are the really old Revell ones that come from the Mickey Thompson Pontiac 6 cyl little rail dragster kit, remember that one? They're melted and wondered if you're going to replace them with better 60s mags for the dragstrip? I understand keeping the models the way the original builders intended back then
I do remember and thanks for the info. I'll probably leave it as is, I just can't bring myself to change anything on these old builds. If there apart and just pieces.....game on lol
I like 49s to. Loved the flip-thru. The 22 is Really Cool. Thanks for sharing

I always liked the look of the 49 Ford but I have never built one. Nice shout outs.
