They should give credits more distinguish icon to not confuse people. Meybe silver coin instead of just gold symbol. + add a currency description inside a hero gallery so players can learn how this things work in the game without need to look for yt videos or blog posts. (We actualy have 4 currencies in the game and i imagine it can be hard to understand for new players)

That’s what I’ve been doing already, I’ve used the battle pass credits to get the rare skins from the new hero’s and saving the other credits for the battle pass (Trust me if you only use the Overwatch 1 credits for the battle pass and only the battle pass you’ll be a lot more happy with the game)

This actually helps. I had no clue the coins turned to credits when you had enough. Still doesn't allow me to get Echo's ballet routine, but still. Its the thought that counts?
It's certainly a step in the right direction! They do need to make money somehow too 😁
They should just be one currency and get them for ever level in the battle pass there isn't anything to unlock, so for the free part of the battlepass

Just a quick and easy question, so does this mean any skin in the hero gallery is available for use of the white coins (now they are white instead and in the BP)? Just wondering for skins with insignas and whatnot so i can plan my spending accordingly being a primary FTP player right now come December 2023. All good if this doesn't get answered, I'll find out sooner than later so no hard feelings .
So the general rule of thumb is old skins from OW1 can be bought with credits, but new OW2 skins require bought coins instead 👍

Im so sad rn, i thought they were completely separate things and that you could only buy stuff like voice lines with credits, and the skins were for coins, so i ended up spending all my credits on stupid voice lines when i could have saved up for a sick skin, im actually gonna cry 😭😭😭

My pleasure! :D I believe it's only OW1 skins as many of the new ones have been removed from the Hero gallery. My understanding is that if you can see it in the Hero gallery, it can be unlocked (unless it shows a padlock next to it)

I wanted the Medusa skin but it isn't there actually infact every ow2 skin I think are just gone from the gallery same with battlepass skins if u haven't purchased them

@@MotionGaming They intentionally conceal the fact credits can be used to buy "premium skins" so people will spend money. I thought these 1500 and 1900 coins skins are not purchasable with credit, but they are when I get enough credit.

Depending on skin, you could get a skin and an emote. Some legendarys are 1000

It still works but only for OW1 skins. New skins released in OW2 are generally only available with coins instead.

There's free credits in the battle pass, with more in the paid battle pass

Bro im at season i leveled up the free battle pass a few lvl says i got a few 100 silver credit but when i visit the hero gallery its not even showing me the silver free credit, only giving me the option to buy gold credit? How can i check my free silver credit?
I think when you're in there you can click on or hover over your coins in the top right and it will show you how many you have 😁

You basically can get every skin for free if you grind enough. This is good.
Not every skin but most of them yes. There are some special OW2 specific ones that are coins only 😅
@@MotionGaming Still a good f2p friendly system. Blizzard can get money from the whales that need all starter packs and battle passes skins, while f2p can actually earn some good legendaries.
Why have some of the skins gone if you don’t own them? Eg scientist moira and funky Baptiste
I think there are some skins they didn't want available for credits, like the recent Ash Twitch drop skin...

Friends told me that only OW1 players can buy Emotes/Skins for Credits and me (the poor soul) who began after OW1 dont have the option. Sounds fishy to me, thats why I found that video super interesting.

I recently just hit 100+ levels on battle pass and now all the legendary skins are the white coin, will it stay this way?
No, there is currently a special anniversary even going on where all visible skins can be bought with credits, but this won't last more than 3-4 weeks

They can get you legendaries but not all skins are available.
General rule is OW2 skins are for coins, OW1 skins are available for credits too 👍

There is no option for the grey coin it only ask me to buy with battle pass coins and I don't have the battle pass
You need enough credits first. I think some OW2 skins may not be available

Skins in the store are only available for coins which are real money only. Credits can't be used for store packs.

It’s because you don’t have enough credits to buy the skin yet, but when you have enough then it will let u

Nope.. they reskinned the CREDITS to be GOLD and made the COINS an incredibly similar design just to fucking confuse people.

Yes you can but only 1500 of them are available in the free battle pass, 2000 for the premium one though
maybe the next battlepass will also include legacy credits as free rewards, i was thinking of buying that 1000 credits skin for kiriko, but i like the sukajan one better, so im thinking of just waiting for the next battlepass instead i guess, even if it doesnt include those rewards, there is no loss in waiting to find out

There are free credits in the battle pass that require no purchase. You should see them as currency in the top right when hovering over coins

It only shows when you have enough credits to buy it, so when you have enough again it will show again 😁

All battle passes contain free credits. You can go to your hero gallery and click on a skin, then click on the coins in the top right to see how many you have

Not sure, the prices are local. You can find out by going to the in game hero gallery and clicking on the plus next to coins

The battle pass now contains 600 coins on the free tiers. 2 seasons of completion will get you a free pass.

Once you have enough credits you can get the skins available in the hero gallery. You click on them and it will give tou the option of credits or coins 😁

It doesnt forbids you to only purchase skins or emotes etc. You can use your gold currency everywhere while you can spend your silver currency only on specific items. So not only your title is a clickbait and wrong but also your whole video is misleading and unnecessary.
